Y's CABIN&HOTEL Naha Kokusai Street

Great staff. Clean. Nice hot baths. Comfortable PJs and pillows.

Some of the other people staying there, left suitcases in the aisles and were noisy.

Perfect location, the rooms are so cozy and very quiet. Lots of room to have meals in the main foyer, very happy with my stay. Would definitely stay again :)

Very crowded late in the afternoon for showers but I guess that's expected. Some noisy guests at times, but nothing too major

The free onsen was a nice perk. Room was clean. They give you free towels every day.

Firstly, the rooms are not remotely soundproofed, and the doors are simply a cloth sheet you open and close, so they are also not secure. It's bizarre, why can't they just install doors?? Additionally, there was a guest who came in very drunk and made a lot of noise all night that kept me (and I'm sure others in the hallway) awake. She was complaining about not being able to find her phone, but it was right there, she was just completely wasted. Not technically the hotel's fault, but honestly the flimsy non-doors don't help to mitigate the capsule room situation. The customer service was not good, basically non-existent. So maybe just automate check-in? Also, while conveniently located behind Kokusai-dori, the area is kinda sketchy by Japanese standards, especially at night. As a solo female, don't wander around at night. I was followed by someone at some point, lots of drunks and yanks wandering the alleys because there's a nightlife scene there. Honestly, would not stay again. Would prefer to pay a little more for quiet and privacy.
