Nice apartment for families looking to visit Europa Park and the Black Forest
The host Willi is very friendly and was there to meet us and hand over the keys and give us a tour of the apartment. The apartment was clean and well equipped and a decent size. Short walk to Kenzingen centre or Aldi supermarket. Only 15 mins drive to Europa Park and Rulantica which was the main reason for the stay. Easy to visit scenic parts of the Black forest region too.
The host only speaks German and doesn't speak English. Communications via Booking.com go to a management company DS Destination Solutions GmbH / HRS Holidays who say they have passed your message on to the host but then you never hear back from them. It would have been much more comforting arriving in Germany if any of the 4 messages I'd sent in the 2 weeks before arrival had got any response.

Lovely people and peaceful space
Lovely couple that run the rental are very helpful. Nice amount of space and very clean. Washing machine access is a bonus. Back patio is very peaceful and overlooks a town park.
Kitchen appliances are older and the cooktop is a little touchy. Some issues with plumbing, but everything was addressed immediately and not a big deal at all.
