The breakfast options were excellent. The property also has good quality bicycles to rent for 20 THB per day which is very reasonable. The property is very close to the historical city and we had a great time exploring by bike.
The property requires a cash deposit of 1000 THB for the key (which is returned on check out). This wasn’t a problem for us, but we weren’t aware in advance so we mention here so that future guests are aware.

This is a fantastic place to stay in old sukkothai. If you want to experience real thailand then this is the place. Kwan is such a friendly host and will help with anything you need. Her staff will cook you a fresh breakfast everyday. Rooms are really nice and clean. The garden is beautiful. You can rent bicycles here to cycle around the historical park which I highly recommend as it covers a large area. If you want to see the historical park and the surrounding area I would recommend at least two full days if not more. There is a wonderful night market nearby where you can sit by the temple and eat food. Plenty of restaurants only five minutes walk away. I highly recommend a visit to smiling face guesthouse.

Great location, lovely helpful staff, beautiful homely like environment, good breakfast and great price for what it offers.
