Friendly staff, convenient location, clean

Some tenants were noisy after hours. Shared mixed gender toilets and showers could get quite busy

This was an excellent hostel! Each bed was so private and a cozy space to rest after a big day exploring Tokyo. It’s very quiet for a hostel and everyone keeps to themselves. Storage space was great, with an under bed compartment. Although can’t fit a suitcase which meant the suitcases are placed around the hallways. The hangers in the bed space were excellent. Shower was good. Area was cleaned daily so stayed very clean. Mattresses were quite firm but I didn’t mind that. Cafe down stairs was great to sit to eat. It was excellent to be close to Yoyogi park which I enjoyed going to a few times during my stay. There are 2 train stations close by to get around everywhere easily.

The top bunks were very difficult to get in/out of. It would’ve been helpful to have another bar or handle to hold to assist with climbing the ladder. I was able to move to a bottom bunk which was excellent.

The location is great.

The showers smelled like urine. Just awful. It was boiling hot and once the curtain was closed, it was airless. Being in a mixed dorm, I couldn’t sleep with the curtain open as I didn’t feel comfortable due to people getting up to go to the toilet throughout the night. I wouldn’t stay again.
