Hurricane Update:
The entire complex is built on pillars more than 20 feet off the ground. The condo sustained no damage, we have been accepting guests for several weeks, the pool has been completely drained, acid washed, refilled and we have installed a new pump, a new filter and all new equipment. The pool has never looked better, the beaches are open, the restaurants are open and the weather is fantastic.
The Anna Maria Island Beach Palms is located 125 yards from the beach. You can walk to the beach in one minute. Additionally The Beach Palms is located with-in walking distance of Anna Maria Island's best waterfront restaurants, beach shops, gift shops, shell shops, boutiques and the quaint shopping village on Bridge St. that leads right out onto the Bridge St. a pier famous for strolling, fishing and eating and the new Rotten Ralph’s restaurant at the end of the pier.
There is a great grocery store right on the island, a fantastic Wal-Mart Super Center 5 minutes from the condo and a great shopping mall with all the big department stores as well.

We walked in and there was a huge cockroach. After that issue we did not have any other issues. We would advocate for better mattresses and the second bed in the kids’ bedroom was just a trundle pull out from under the bed that was stained and filthy. Not really as pictured on the website. Location was outstanding. The pool was heated perfectly. Overall, we would stay here again, knowing that we needed to bring a different air mattress for our second child to sleep on.

Even with detailed instructions hard to find parking. Leaving the parking lot.. right curb has LOW curb which I went over to avoid Deep sewer cover on left. BIG drop off on right off curb. Went over it to a big drop off. Got car stuck! Had to call AAA to get me out
