Hurricane Update:
The entire complex is built on pillars more than 20 feet off the ground. The condo sustained no damage, we have been accepting guests for several weeks, the pool has been completely drained, acid washed, refilled and we have installed a new pump, a new filter and all new equipment. The pool has never looked better, the beaches are open, the restaurants are open and the weather is fantastic.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
The Anna Maria Island Beach Palms 2B is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo that sleeps six with a view of the water from every room, high speed wireless internet, a boat and fishing dock, heated pool, 2 balconies west and east, 2 televisions and 2 parking spots. The east balcony directly over looks the Bay and fishing dock and is accessed by sliding glass doors off both the living room and primary bedroom with a King sized bed. The white sand beaches are 125 yards to the west.

-Primary bedroom - one king bed
-Second bedroom - two win beds
-Living room - one sleeper sofa

We had a wonderful stay at the property. Upon arrival we realized the beach chairs were not in usable condition so we purchased our own. When Terry checked in with us to see how our stay was going we mentioned it to him and he reimbursed us for the chairs without any question. The property itself is clean and has a beautiful view of the bay where my 12 yo son went fishing everyday. It is a super short walk to the beach and we would definitely return again.

Condo is great. Owner should put together a booklet with all instructions. He sent a text with info stuffed into one long paragraph. Info should be in outline format. Especially the cable tv info.

We could've happily and comfortably lived in this condo for a lot longer than 1 week! Everything looked new, updated and very clean. The décor and the hardwood floors were very nice and very appropriate for a beach condo. Having 2 full bathrooms and a washer/dryer was very convenient. The wifi worked perfectly and the curved screen HDTV was really nice.The location was great. Having the bay right below our balcony was very nice, especially in the morning. It took just a few minutes to walk across the street to the beach (carrying chairs, towels and an umbrella that were all provided). The pool was warm and clean with a decent number of lounge chairs. The closest restaurants were about a 5 min walk away while the Bridge St restaurants and shops were about a 15 min walk. The covered parking spots were great, and we easily drove around the island and across the bridge into Bradenton.We only had 1 minor drain clog issue upon arrival. We contacted Terry and he immediately responded. The friendly handyman was there the next morning for a quick fix. Checkout was simple: just had to empty the refrigerator and take out the trash. I highly recommend this property.
