What a great experience - full of Japanese charm from the moment you change to slippers! The breakfast is a tasty 'local' buffet with a view across the garden (and 'sunken seating' for those who struggle to sit on the floor).

Breakfast great, location to train station and down town excellent for those with luggage. We had 2 bike boxes and 2 bags, bus from airport drops you off about 500 meters away. So we took a while to get our luggage up to the place but they were AMAZING at helping us .
Nothing , this place is for those who return and those who have bike riding plans. They kept our 200 cm cardboard bike boxes for 2 months while we traveled Hokkaido. We had a tandem bike so a lot of space needed for storage. And they kept in contact with us for the whole bike trip of 2000 k. I can not recommend this place and staff enough.

Location is good
The Onsen ist only open at the typical dinner time 19:30-22:00 to save money. Therefore after a long day of activities it’s not possible use the onsen when you back to the accommodation. We had to pay to use another onsen. So keep that in mind when booking. We were quite disappointed.
