Cute little place with very friendly staff. I'm tattooed and they let me use the public bath. Breakfast was basic, but for the price it was fair. I enjoyed the quiet vibe.
Tatami rooms aren't the most comfortable. Walls are very thin and train nearby so bring earplugs.

Very clean and comfortable room. Nice Japanese style breakfast, very agreeable host. Best value for money we got on Hokkaido. We highly recommend.
We were worried it might be loud by the train tracks, but we did not notice any trains, which don’t seem to pass by at night.

Location is good
The Onsen ist only open at the typical dinner time 19:30-22:00 to save money. Therefore after a long day of activities it’s not possible use the onsen when you back to the accommodation. We had to pay to use another onsen. So keep that in mind when booking. We were quite disappointed.
