Location is excellent. Steps from water taxi docks, restaurants and convenience stores. We were there one night (a Sunday) and we could hear some bar noise. The hostal provides ear plugs for those with sensitive hearing. In our case only one of us needed them. There’s a kitchen and fridge but we didn’t used them.

The location is central and so lots of places around to eat / shop / visit. The lady on the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The main gates / doors were closed in early evening so made extra safe. Place was clean.
I don't sleep well here. My room was extremely loud - partly due to the road outside but also due to fact that ceiling doesn't meet roof. Also fan was very loud and if wasn't turned on then it still made a noise! (Think from fan next door) I know it's in a central area and it's going to be louder than out of town areas but it was quieter in the communal area than in my bedroom.
