Sun Havens Apartments & Suites

We loved our time at Sun Havens in Bocas! For us, it was everything we could want for a 3 week stay. The split-level apartment was as advertised and the price/value ratio is fair. Perfectly cleaned & presentable, it was easy to be comfortable here. The kitchen was great - full sized fridge, stove/oven, equipped with cookware. Upstairs bedroom was lovely, air con worked well too. Bathroom was hygenic. Outdoor balcony was perfect for a drink, game of scrabble and watching the wonderful world of Bocas roll by. Host Maurizio and his team genuinely care about their guests, always available and attentive, so friendly & welcoming. Location for us was fabulous- 2 block walk to the towns centre, 3min walk to supermarket, 10min walk to tours/bars/restaurants in the more touristy area of Bocas. Sun Havens neighbourhood is peaceful, friendly and quiet. Would definitely stay here again! Many thanks to Maurizio & staff for a memorable stay in Bocas 🙏

The location

There was roadwork on the streets directly opposite the two walls of our room, so every day the sounds of hammers, electric saws, and workers' voices were our alarm clock. The photos already showed that the accommodation was somewhat old and sparsely furnished, but there was no information about the roadwork that had closed off the two streets facing the room. As compensation, they gave us a late checkout, letting us out at 12 pm instead of 11 am (just one hour), but after going to the beach and buying a few things, we returned at 12:20 pm to find a woman waiting for us. She charged us $15 to stay until 1 pm (that is $15 for an extra hour without any prior notice).
