Bastide Saint-Didier

It is such a pleasure to be able to relate what a wonderful experience we had at the Bastide St. Didier. I don't know that we have ever experienced such warm and welcoming hosts. Richard and Jasmine are genuine, caring and knowledgable. The breakfast was remarkable. We were able to sit out in the garden for our meal, which was a pleasure. The Bastide itself is beautiful and shows the pride of the couple's many years of work. The garden is Jasmine's pride and that pride shows itself. Beautifully composed and tended. We were there in April and it was beautiful. When the lavender is in bloom it must be stunning. We walked into the village and had a great light dinner. The next day we took a drive through the Gorges de la'Nesque which was striking. We also took time to have lunch at Les Remparts, which we enjoyed. Finally, the other guests were pleasant, and seemed equally appreciative of the setting and the hosts. Would love to return.

There was nothing at the property, or with the hosts, that could have been better for us. We were completely satisfied.

Exceptional maison d hote in Saint Didier (30mn from Avignon) where Jasmine et Richard made their best to make us feel like home. We will surely come back

What a lovely place! The property is stunning and has been restored to perfection- a beautiful chateau surrounded by a garden of blossoming flowers. Plus a fluffy little cat keeping an eye out for safety (and cuteness). The location is the ultimate base to visit the many nearby towns, markets and attractions of Provence. Jasmine is the perfect hostess who will predict your wishes from a mile away- from suggesting thoughtful daily itineraries to bringing out fresh baguettes to accompany your afternoon picnic after you return from the market with everything but bread. The house is set up perfectly to enjoy the many local markets and vineyards as they have a guest kitchen that includes a fridge, cutting board, cups and plates. Richard makes a fabulous breakfast with crepes and eggs to pair with the fruit ( picked on property!) jams, coffee, etc provided. Provence is easy to enjoy when everything laid out flawlessly! Thank you for the perfect stay, I hope many others get to enjoy this experience.

Breakfast was wonderful, the property was so lovely. The pool was ideal. The hosts were really the key; they were so knowledgeable, kind, helpful without being asked, friendly and understood hospitality from start to finish. We felt so lucky to have found this property.

We couldn’t get the AC to work (I don’t even know if there is AC, but there was a wall unit, so it appeared like there was). Didn’t bother me, but if this is something you are sensitive to, it is worth confirming with the hosts before booking.
