The host couple were very welcoming. They were very kind and polite in showing us around the room. They even guided us to our car when we checked out. It was just the best. I recommend staying at least 2 nights. I will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

The apartment itself is awesome, it has a great little balcony and we were fortunate to have a couple of warm winter days to enjoy the amazing view, the apartment itself is quite spacious for an old town Italy apartment. Camogli itself is a beautiful and vibrant coastal town, we really enjoyed it there.

NO LIFT. The lift wasn’t working and the apartment is located on the Sixth floor of the building. That’s 11 flights of very steep stairs to get to the apartment, goes without saying if you have mobility problems you shouldn’t book this place. We were disappointed they didn’t alert us of this before we arrived as I suspect it hasn’t been working for a while and my wife is still recovering from a knee replacement.

Very clean, nicely decorated, large rooms and several balconies with great views of the sea and town.

Great location and exceptional host.

Lara and Giacomo are excellent hosts. However, I don’t believe the rating on the website accurately reflects the accommodation. Hotels or guesthouses that receive a score above 9 are usually exceptional, and in my opinion, that’s not the case here. Some significant points are downplayed in the reviews, and it’s important to read and understand them. First, I’ll say that Camogli is stunning! That said, it’s an old town with historic buildings and traffic restrictions that come with that. In this area, paid parking (25 euros per night) must be arranged in advance, and the parking lot is a 10-minute walk from the hotel — not ideal for those using a car for day trips. By the way, the town’s supermarket is next to the parking lot, so you’ll need to carry your groceries with you. As long as it’s a small purchase, it’s manageable, but drinks and heavy items can be difficult. The photos on the website are probably taken from several apartments owned by the hosts. From our apartment, there was no view of the harbor — only a partial sea view. Not the end of the world, but when an apartment is advertised with a harbor view... I would expect to actually see the harbor. The building we stayed in has an elevator, but it’s small and fits no more than 3 people. For large groups or carrying luggage, several trips are needed. Our apartment had only one air conditioner located in the shared living space. There were no air conditioners in the bedrooms, which meant we had to sleep with the doors open. During our visit, the temperature in Camogli was comfortable, but I’m not convinced a single air conditioner would suffice on hotter days. Our apartment was right next to the train tracks! From 6 AM until midnight, there was unbearable noise from passing trains. In my opinion, this is a crucial detail — if I had known about it, I wouldn’t have chosen this apartment.

Location was fabulous and being a solo female traveller, I felt extremely safe and comfortable at this apartment.

Incredible view, balcony, spacious apartment, great location a few minutes walk from the beach, friendly owner.

Decor is a little dated but the view more than makes up for it.

This place has exceeded our expectations! Amazing views, very friendly host, exceptionally clean apartment - what else could you wish for? :) Just one word - fantastic!
