It’s easy to find and the “final mile” is wide and comfortable to drive unlike some area of the Lake District. The lounge is big, quiet and very cozy. Staff is friendly and accommodating.
Our room (Tree Top Suite) didn’t have a shower (it was in the description so it wasn’t a surprise) but the bath tub is very clean. But we wish it at least had a shower head so my wife can wash her long hair more easily.

Everything about the hotel was incredible - from start to finish. Excellent hosts, clean, the location was perfect. The accommodation itself is very well thought out, nothing could be improved in our eyes and we found a hidden gem. You have private lakeside access which was brilliant to walk the dogs, with the added bonus of live badger feeding at dusk. Absolutely will return, thank you for the most wonderful stay.
