Staff helpful and gave us a room with a fenced off garden as we have a pooch. Breakfast was good. Fantastic location.

I stayed with my (adult) daughter for 7 nights and found this to be a wonderful hotel! :) The hostess went out of her way to accommodate us and any requests we made. (She also extended her thoughtfulness without being asked...little things like making sure there were chocolate croissants for my daughter after the 2nd day was very thoughtful!)The rooms have a stunning view of the mountains unhindered by any buildings infront it (a large plain of grass leading down to the river). The rooms are reasonably compact but contains everything that is required. The bathroom is a reasonable size though the shower box is smallish however the constant hot water supply and wonderful water pressure more than made up for it. The hotel is situated at the edge of Cogne which meant a blissfully quiet sleep (no town noise), lovely alpine air and the distant sound of the rippling river...i havent slept so well for a long time! We went to Cogne to enjoy the mountain hiking and this hotel is perfectly positioned for that purpose. We literally walked around the back of the hotel and started our hike. Everyday we walked out of the hotel and began a new hike, no transport required. The balconies have a table and chairs, the room has a fridge, so a great combination if you want to make your own "whatever" and have it on the balcony with stunning views. Most evenings we had a drink from the bar in the (small) garden. I found the price to be very reasonable and I'm v glad i took the online advice i read of staying in Cogne for all the advantages stated above. I highly recommend this hotel.

4 star breakfast enjoyed at terrace facing Cogne, served at the room with no time constraint, quietness and surroundings.
