Villa Sam

Very big villa with plenty of space. Big pool and plenty of area to park two or three cars. Beds are decent and air con very effective. Balconies are large size. 3 bathrooms are plenty. Good value for money. About a 15 minute walk to nissi beach or 3 minute drive. 15 minute drive to Protaras. 30 minute walk to aiya napa strip. So all round good location. I would recommend a car but it is not necessary as shops nearby. Staff by La mar are always there if necessary.

Cleanliness isn’t great. Plates, cutlery and glasses had just been rinsed and placed away with food stuck to them. The pool needs a serious clean with the edges bright green and leaves and bugs at the bottom of the pool. There is a lack of seating on the balconies but this wasn’t much of an issue. I’d say the whole place could do with a refurbished as it was quite outdated. However for the price of £240 per night it is reasonable.

Kilka żarówek było spalonych ( dokupiłem we własnym zakresie) papier toaletowy powinien być dostępny w większej ilości(jedna sztuka w toalecie na tydzień czasu dla 8 osób to trochę mało). Miło by było zasłonić większym kwiatem pomieszczenie hydrauliczne od basenu.

Very comfortable and spacious. 6 of us stayed here and it was perfect. A quiet location too which we enjoyed.

Where do i begin: - Hosts are appalling, unhelpful, uncooperative unprofessional and liars. Arrived at airport to be given a phone by the driver of the transfer which we booked through them to be told we cannot stay in the Villa Sam for 2 nights as the water had been turned off by the government, this turned out to be a lie and was apparently damaged by the guests before us. Got left 6 miles out of Ayia Napa in a below par villa. Villa have not agreed to refund us for the first night which you would expect as it is a €350 a night villa and the situation ruined our first 2 days in Ayia Napa and missed out on a paid Boat Party as their taxi failed to turn up on time the next day. This company will do anything to get your money. They upped our deposit to €750 instead of €500 as they thought it was pay day with 7 young men in the villa. Left the villa with rubbish in bags next to the indoor bin and the bin outside full, we got charged €150 for extra cleaners to dispose of our rubbish bags. NO DISHWASHER, do not stay here if you want to be doing the dishes in 30 degree heat as they will charge you if you do not do it yourself!! They say we broke the outside table beyond repair which cost us €170 of our damage deposit, even though the table was fine and fully functional when we left as all we done was put our drinks on it before our night out. You will without a doubt get charged on the electricity, we was very careful at turning lights off and barely had them on, but somehow we still ended up going over and getting charged €60. This villa is kind of on the outskirts and can be very prone to being broken into which we had a lucky escape of as the villa next door got burgled and had the whole safe drilled out and suitcases completely ransacked. The villa is very nice but the customer service is appalling, they care more about themselves than the people who spent €2000 for a week holiday. I would recommend you stay away from La Mer Homes.
