Great location and good size home for families

Some maintenance is required to make this house perfect.. no hot water in upstairs bathroom and the rest needed the switch to be set all the time. There was also a smell of dampness downstairs at times.

Great peaceful location close to the sea and nearby bay with nice rocks, can do some swimming/snorkelling here but please bring your swimming shoes. Fig Tree Bay easily accessible with a 10 min walk, Green Bay 20-25 min walking distance - both are great beaches with some smaller nice beaches along the path. Breathtaking sunrise view, don't miss it! Luxurious living room and pool area is a bless. Well equipped kitchen, large fridge, comfy chairs. EU adapters for some of the sockets in each rooms. Helpful and kind host company representatives, tried to quickly fix any problems. Flexible and easy check-in (key in coded box). The villa delivers what it promises.

Some basic design flaws of the building worth considering when booking, because these can't be improved I'm afraid: - not well-sealed building (huge bugs can come in under doors, through the central resting area's openable rooftop, near the front door etc) - no sound isolation - loud partying neightbours can become a real problem at night if you are with family - pool area not very private (close neighbours, can easily hear and see each as there is other just a 1,5m tall wall between adjacent villas). Things that could be improved to make the villa even better: - The property needs some renovation and could use a bit more attention to details like some non-working electronic equipments, some TV channels work some don't, dangling wires here and there, some pool tiles came off, pool ladder incorrectly attached to floor and moving under weight, etc. - A confusing amount of switches and remote controllers, some non-labeled, no user manual for the property,... was almost like a puzzle game on the first day to figure out which switch+remote combination does what. - strange hot water system: works for 1 hour max, after that you have to press a button again to have hot water - on one of the bedrooms there was barely any hot water even after having it turned on for an hour.

The property was in the most perfect location, with the most stunning views. If you come to stay here then I would highly recommend getting up to watch a sunrise…you will not be disappointed!

The pool wasn’t heated and was too cold to use most of the time due to the time of year. This was my fault really as I didn’t check it was beforehand but I will be sure to always check this for future trips. Re the villa itself, it was a little tired and run down unfortunately. The hot water system was annoying and outdated (no hot water at all, unless you put it on and wait for 15 mins and you have to do that every time you wish to use it, i.e. you can’t put it on and then come back after lunch for a shower as it would be off and cold again). The kettle was broken and would leak. The layout of the property isn’t very child friendly (we had to hire stair gates to ensure safety). And the whole of the downstairs smelt of damp; it was so bad in two of the bedrooms that we were wary to have our children sleep in there. This well could have been due to us being some of the first visitors of the year but it really should have been aired out or something. The smell made my pregnant sister feel sick. On the lower level (between the bedrooms), there is a courtyard, which had a birds nest and lots of bird mess on the floor upon our arrival. The birds were gorgeous but were very loud and would swoop in when you opened the door. We informed the agent right away and they came to remove the nest the following day. Unfortunately though, nothing was done to clean the mess left behind. The property was of average cleanliness upon arrival, on the whole, and definitely could have been cleaner. Irrespective of the above, we did have an amazing time and I am sure that if you visited later in the year (during the peak season), some of these issues would not be apparent. I would stay again for the location and view alone!

excellent location, very spacious and also very peaceful and the view from the pool was fabulous

the hot water system was terrible. you had to put the water heater on for showers/hot water and it wasn’t sufficient for 8 people. we had to stagger our showers otherwise we would run out of hot water. it would take about two hours every evening for us all to get a hot shower. also we had birds nest in the courtyard which although they were sweet they messed the floor. also for a villa for eight people we had one key, should really have had at least two keys
