L’hospitalité de Markos, sa bienveillance, sa gentillesse, le charme calme et apaisant du jardin loin des hôtels resorts en béton, les petits déjeuners absolument excellents et copieux, merci encore de m’avoir fait du chocolat chaud (comme les bébés 😂), la qualité du matelas et sa grandeur, on a tellement bien dormi !!! Les attentions, le vin offert..C’est typique c’était beau et on vous souhaite le meilleur! À bientôt Eva et Roman 🌼

Das Apartment verfügt über eine ausreichende Ausstattung und bietet alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Lage ist sehr gut – zentral gelegen und ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Markos und seine Schwester sind sehr gute Gastgeber und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man füllt sich wie ein Familienmitglied. Der Frühstück ist wirklich super, abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker.

Das untere Appartement war leider etwas feucht.

Liebevoll und persönlich eingerichtet - genau wie auf der Homepage beschrieben und entsprach voll unseren Erwartungen.Marcos ist ein äußerst sympathischer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Kriterien Sauberkeit, Komfort und Größe der Unterkunft sind in jeder Hinsicht hervorragend.

1. Hospitality: The host seems to genuinely love his job and, as he said himself, "travels" without leaving home. You can really feel it—he is naturally curious, wants to learn about the country we came from, and shares stories about his own. We enjoyed the natural evening conversations and his sincere desire to understand how to improve the guest experience. 2. Authenticity: All the details shown in the photos accurately reflect a real, traditional Cretan house. You get exactly what is promised. One shouldn't expect modern solutions or contemporary comfort. The domestic cat—seemingly a permanent resident—became our friend. 3. Location: The house is located away from the main street, though even there the traffic is minimal. Overall, it was quiet both in the house and the surrounding area. The courtyard is lovely, offering different spaces to spend time in, which was a real gift when traveling with a child. The loudest noise came from a nearby pool where kids occasionally squealed. We also happened to be there during some nearby construction. 4. Breakfast: A few of them prepare breakfast together, trying to listen to everyone's needs and serve homemade food. The jams are homemade, the olive oil is pressed from their own olive trees, and the cheeses, although from nearby shops, are carefully selected to be the best. For example, when they heard that we eat more vegetables in Lithuania, they started preparing an extra plate of vegetables for us. 5. The host's attention to detail: He simply took care of us. The sun is shining in our eyes? A curtain is hung the next day. The child feels uncomfortable in a new environment? Breakfast is served in a different space. More coffee? Ice cream? Homemade wine? A stronger drink? Without being intrusive, we felt that we truly mattered to him.

1. We stayed in the ground-floor apartment where the doors are one of the most obvious authentic details. Unfortunately, not all of them close properly. They are there, but you can only push them shut, not actually close them—including the toilet door. It wasn't a major issue for us, but it seems these "authentic" doors are in need of an authentic repair. The front door can only be opened quietly if you know the trick (you have to lift the handle upwards from the outside). 2. Another authentic aspect is the atmosphere of a stone house, which draws in moisture, both in the bathroom and when storing clothes in the rooms. If this is intentional, perhaps it can be accepted as part of the authenticity. However, if the goal is to improve comfort, one could use infrared panels or an electric heated towel rail in the bathroom, for example. In terms of electricity consumption, this would be an inexpensive, targeted heating solution used only when needed. P.S. There is an air conditioner, which partially solves this problem. 3. We had to figure out how to turn on the hot water (which way to turn the tap), and the wobbly faucet requires some preventative maintenance. But who knows, maybe we just don't get it and this unfixed faucet is actually a family heirloom! :D We sincerely hope this feedback won't offend the sensitive host, but we believe that addressing these details will improve the experience for future guests. And that is exactly what the host values!
