Beautiful old home with great breakfast in perfect location if walking Via Francigena.

Beautiful old house with modern amenities and great views from big windows. Shared kitchen with enough facilities to cook of you wanted - two hot plates, microwave, electric kettle, bar fridge. Great breakfast for 5 euro.

Stunning place, amazing experience, definitely recommended <3

The hotel is absolutely STUNNING, it looks like an old castle. We stayed in a 4-person room, which was huge, with very comfortable beds, a nice view, and a good bathroom. The garden is super cute, and the view in the early morning when the sun appears over the wall is breathtaking. Breakfast was huge and plenty, except for coffee - there is only one hot drink per person, and you have to pay for more, which is okay. However, the lady who served us wasn't very nice about it (read below). Parking is available on Via S Matteo, very close to the entrance. The town is enchanting. Overall, a great place to stay, I would definitely stay again, and I recommend it to everybody. :)

The only thing we found weird about our stay here was the lady who served breakfast. The man who worked at the reception was nice enough, but she had a very rude vibe about her since the first minute she saw us. I woke up early and sat down in the kitchen with my laptop to work a little bit before breakfast. When she appeared, I asked if I could make myself a coffee (there were two coffee machines in the room). She replied, "No. Breakfast starts at 8am." Which is ok, but she could have said it in a million other ways that wouldn't be so rude and grumpy. Also, I don't understand why I couldn't just buy that coffee or boil some water and make instant coffee that was also there at the table, but ok. Then the man from the reception appeared, and I think she mentioned to him that I asked for a coffee, because suddenly he brought me an espresso, which I didn't order. I thankfully drank it. Then the rest of my group came for breakfast, and she asked what we wanted to drink. We all ordered cappuccinos, but when it was my turn, she said, "You want another one?" which I found ridiculous. I never ordered that espresso, I never drink them, I always drink cappuccino, and I think that was just the man being nice to me, but she seemed absolutely disgusted with my coffee greed. :D

Welcoming, helpful hosts with a beautiful B&B with stunning views

Lovely place with gorgeous views slap bang in the ancient town.

It was not an issue for us - the walk was lovely but worth knowing that although you can drop your bags, the accommodation is in the restricted zone so you then have to park down quite a steep hill and walk up again.

Very happy with our stay!

Very good breakfast, it was in their beautiful garden so the ambiance was perfect. Great location of the B&B, instructions for arrival were very clear and the owner was great at communicating with us. The room is so cute and everything is very clean. We would stay here again!

Piacevole breve soggiorno

Posizione a ridosso del centro storico del paese (parte alta), è possibile arrivare con la macchina davanti al B&B per scaricare i bagagli, dopo va lasciata la macchina ai parcheggi liberi che sono distanti 10' a piedi. Stanza pulita e calda, gestori cordiali e disponibili per le indicazioni. Non abbiamo usufruito della colazione, ma abbiamo gradito la presenza di un bollitore comune per farci una tisana/tè la sera.

Migliorerei le indicazioni su booking per l'arrivo al B&B e i parcheggi. Indicazioni comunque fornite correttamente dai gestori su richiesta.

Posizione al centro del paese che ci ha consentito di ammirare sia il paesaggio attorno a noi con uno splendito sorgere del sole la mattina e di godere delle strade illuminate a festa con le luminarie natalizie. Consigliato.

Non c'è stata una cosa che non mi è piaciuta. Se devo però trovare una piccola cosa da migliorare, direi le indicazioni del B&B.

Bardzo klimatyczny dom w pięknym miejscu. Kamienne ściany, belki na suficie to wszystko sprawiało że czuło się że to wyjątkowe miejsce z duszą. Pokój duży, wygodny, urządzony z dbałością o szczegóły. Personel baaardzo pomocny, dbający by pobyt był wyjątkowy.

Stanza bellissima panoramica e spaziosa, i. Zona centro storico, con bagno finestrato ampio, ottimo host che ci ha guidato perfettamente anche se siamo arrivati tardi, unica pecca…mancava il telo doccia ma probabilmente è stata una dimenticanza, da tornare!!
