Frini Hotel

The hotel is just a few yards from a superb beach and its restaurant overlooks the sea. The breakfast was superb with lots of choice and variety and we thoroughly enjoyed also eating dinner there twice. This is a family run hotel and every member of the family and staff were extremely helpful, efficient, pleasant and made our stay especially enjoyable.

It is very very clean. This is 90% of a hotel experience for me. Insect free. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The room, while small was great and just what I needed. Comfortable bed. Great shower! Amazing location. Next time in Crete I am considering no other hotel.

Nothing.

Very friendly staff and nice service Their restaurant also has wonderfully made homemade dishes at great prices Sunbed across the street or affordable, clean and friendly staff

I liked everything about the property. The room was just as they described it. Small clean, simple oceanfront. They did not have a TV, but that didn’t bother me because I was there to relax. I found it very peaceful. I would stay again.

The location is quite good, right on Nea Chora Beach, although the beach is very crowded. One positive aspect is the secure parking. Although it is located 500 meters from the hotel, it is a great advantage given how difficult it is to find parking in Chania. Another positive aspect is the à la carte restaurant. The dishes are tasty, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable.

The breakfast is rather limited — every day there was an omelette and boiled eggs. The reception staff are not welcoming or particularly empathetic. It is very difficult to get by car to the hotel entrance to drop off your luggage. All the surrounding streets are one-way or have restricted access, and only one allows access during certain hours. Unfortunately, the reception staff do not bother to provide this information when you make your reservation.
