Comfortable place for a weekend exploration of Biel and its vicinity.

Great place, great host.

Perfect location with close proximity to railway station, Aldi, Migros, cafes, old town, hiking trails, lake. Charming older building. Spacious kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Nespresso machine with dozen of Complimentary coffee capsules. Large fridge. Nice comfortable bed. Little quiet garden with a table and chairs (shared space). Very quiet area overall. Roland, the Owner of the apartment is very friendly and attentive, and lives in the same building.

Misleadingly advertised for four but only set up for three, with the owner pushing extra charge

We booked this apartment for two adults and two kids. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Booking.com allowed us to book this apartment for four people, but when we arrived, it was clear the apartment was only set up for three people. There was one bedroom with two pillows and two blankets, and a 90 cm one person bed in the living room/kitchen/entrance area with only one pillow and one blanket. This setup is clearly not suitable for four guests. What made it worse is that the owner started texting us in the morning, suggesting we pay an extra €20 for an additional bed, implying the apartment would otherwise be too small. We felt this was unethical and misleading, as we had already paid for four people through Booking.com. It gave us a very uncomfortable vibe throughout the day. We still hoped that advertized sofa bed would fit two kids - as many other listing offer a pulled out sofa to fit two people. Upon arrival, we noticed that there was indeed an extra bed in the hallway, which the owner offers for an extra charge. It felt like a deliberate scheme to get additional payment from guests. In principle, this apartment could have been a nice stay, but we felt misled. The listing advertised space for four people at a set price, but in reality, it was only comfortable for three: three pillows, three one person blankets, three places to sleep. We also tried contacting Booking.com, but they were unable to reach the owner. Overall, this was a negative and frustrating experience, and we do not find it ethical to advertise an apartment for four people when it is clearly intended for three. Also, wifi did not work and the dishwasher made such a horrible sound that we turned it off.

Stay was good and comfortable. Roland, our host was very accommodative, checkin and checkout was flexible. Good facility

It was very close to Train and bus stops. Kitchen is fully equipped and ventilated as it was overlooking the garden. Room was spacious.

A sunny week of boats, cable cars and mountain trains

The apartment was well equipped with all that I needed, whilst the location was superb, a couple of streets away from the city centre, but with no city centre noise. Plus it was just a 10 minute walk to the train station, which boasted a supermarket open until midnight 7 days, and fast direct trains to such as Bern and Lausanne. A nice bonus was that the host provided a Swiss electric plug adaptor, where I hadn't realised that Swiss plugs were different to elsewhere in Europe!

Nothing in the apartment was particularly modern or matching, though that wasn't a problem for me, everything worked.

Ideal for what we wanted at a reasonable price.

It was a small flat, not just a room. Nice kitchen, pleasantly furnished. Great location for the station and centre of town.

No armchair(s), as there was another bed in the ‘bedroom’. Maybe this could be changed to a sofa bed, or have lots of cushions at the back of it, to function as a sofa? Not a big problem.

great location right in the middle of town. good communication with host. easy to get the keys.

the place would need to be refreshed with nicer furniture, new coat of paint. there’s an old-ish feeling which gives the feeling to pay a bit too much for what the place is worth. getting onto the wifi was very tedious

Petite adorable et cozy perle au centre de Bienne

Adorable appartement dans le centre de Bienne, avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Super bien situé, vous pouvez aller à pied partout. Bien équipé et communication facile et fluide avec le propriétaire. Merveilleux, nous reviendrons bientôt!

Le parking est un peu loin, mais au moins le propriétaire vous en offre un ( 10 mins à pied ) qui étant dans le centre, est très apprécié.

A localização do apartamento é fantástica! Perto de tudo, centro, comércio, lago, cidade antiga, estação de trem... um local silencioso e agradável.

Praktisches, ruhiges, gut gelegenes Apartment.

Die Wohnung ist praktisch und gut eingerichtet, das Schlafzimmer zum Garten ist gut nachts zu lüften trotz Erdgeschosslage. Obwohl es sehr warm war, konnte ich sehr gut schlafen. Es war recht ruhig nach hinten, obwohl vorne an der Strasse das Stadtfest aufgeräumt wurde! Das Fenster zur Strasse ist gut schallisoliert. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut, er hat schnell geantwortet und war sehr hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend. Er wohnt im gleichen Haus. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral und man kommt überall gut zu Fuss hin, dank eines bekannten Warenhauses in der Nachbarschaft war die Wohnung auch supereinfach zu finden. Es hat auch Bushaltestellen in der Nähe, viele Läden, Restaurants, Cafés..

Die Matratzen sind etwas weich, aber das ist ja Geschmacksache.

Top v Biel/Bienne

Ubytovanie bolo super, krásny apartmán na prízemí. Poloha úžasná do 10minut peši k železničnej stanici ale aj po ruke mesto a obchody. Pán majiteľ veľmi milý stále sa zaujímal či nám niečo nechýba čo bolo veľmi milé. Byt bol čistý, dobre sme sa vyspali a čo sa tyka vybavenia nájdete tam všetko čo potrebujete. Cenovo veľmi prijateľné. Do budúcna určiťe znovu využijeme.

Da es sehr zentral liegt, hat es wenig Parkmöglichkeiten. Gerade neben der Unterkunft gibt es ein Parkhaus, langfristig ist es aber recht teuer…

Der Aufenthalt mit meinen Jungs war angenehm und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die gemütliche Altbauwohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen und alles Benötigte war vorhanden. Der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer war freundlich und unkompliziert.
