Swiss farmhouse with alpine view.

What a lovely farm bnb. Our family of 6 fit perfectly in “Martha” and woke up to a beautiful view of the Alps. The host was wonderful to work with and kept us well informed. There were farm animals and plenty of games which kept the kids entertained. Nice shared kitchen space. A short drive (15 mins) to Bern.

Watch out for the shower, it sprayed water more than the curtain could handle, but on the upside it had great water pressure.

This was definitely a secret retreat off main road. Beautiful and idealic location.

Lovely farm for people with children

Location, everything is new, well organized, very clean

Our apartment was on the 1st floor and the bathroom is downstairs, near kitchen, which is not convinient if you have to use it in the middle of the night. Also, I didn’t feel comfortable using it while people from the other apartments were preparing meals and eating in the kitchen, because everyone could see you going in. Also the bedroom is a little bit small, not enough space on the side of the bed near window

Perfect stay.

Great for families lots of extra touches- animal toys in the rooms, toys and games in the shared living spaces. Great kitchen, we all loved the outdoor spaces. Would definitely return.

Excellent stay!

Really lovely rooms, bedrooms and living spaces downstairs were very nice. We enjoyed the pool table and the animals outside.

Could be awkward for a couple to share with strangers but amazing for a group.

Great place to stay with kids!

The property is in a great location, easy to get a bus to Bern and drive to near by towns. The building and all facilities were beautiful and in great shape. Breakfast was really good! Hosts were really nice and attentive and very helpful. We will definitely come back again!

Fantastic

Absolutely fantastic. Lovely family run place, they have loads of animals and toys for children, fantastic facilities and the hosts were absolutely lovely. It has the most beautiful view of the alps. Great kitchen facilities, and the TV has Netflix etc. Would 1000% return! Thank you Anna & Andy!

The best!

I have been traveling the world for almost 2 years now. This property is by far the best experience I have had. The best of the best. Super quiet, perfectly clean, excellent wifi, professional quality kitchen equipment and utensils, comfortable bed, wonderful hostess, gorgeous countryside. From the Bern central bus station (and train station), Take the 104 bus (yellow in color) and get off at the Kaserei stop (a twenty minute trip). Also at this stop is a fantastic food market. When you exit the bus you will be about 3 blocks from the property. A cab fare would be enormous. Enjoy!

Quaint, lovely location to relax and enjoy while still able to drive a short distance to big cities.

Anne and Andy could not have made my stay more perfect. I had been on business all week in a larger hotel and with meetings every day, the quiet setting in such a lovely location was what I needed. Though it was November I was able to walk around the grounds and town in the day and I was able to see the cows when they came in to feed at night. Heidi, their dog, was happy to greet me which in addition to the friendliness and helpfulness of Anne made me feel at home. There are 2 rooms for guests and then large common area, modern bath and quaint kitchen which I was worried about at first, but everything is so organized. You have your own spaces in the bathroom and kitchen so always know where you can put your things. The breakfast is so generous (with freshly baked bread daily) that I had leftover that I used it for my evening meal. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone that is looking for a quiet place in the country yet just a few short kilometers from Bern.

Such a beautiful place! Basically you will share a guest house, and the owners (a lovely couple, with a floofy friendly Bernese mountain dog) are just across in the main house. The place is cozy and well decorated. An unexpected treat.

It’s far off the beaten path, and I think it’s best accessed by car, but if you needed to go to Bern or Biel it’s a really neat option.

Super für tierfreundliches Kinder

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit gehabt. Wir hatten viel Freiheit, Zeit mit den Tieren zu verbringen. Die Besitzerin hat sogar extra für uns die süßen Schweine nach vorne gebracht, damit meine Kinder sie streicheln konnten. Vor allem die vielen Hühner waren die Lieblinge meiner Kinder.

Sehr nette & zuvorkommende Betreiberin. Unterkunft bis ins Detail liebevoll eingerichtet.

Die liebe zum Detail in der Einrichtung und die gesamte Umgestaltung der "alten Scheune" hat mich überwältigt! Die Unterkunft ist trotz einer Zimmervermietung, die für manche nicht in Frage kommt, sehr gut aufgeteilt! Man teilt sich nicht mit allen Bewohnern das Bad, da es schlicht einfach mehr gibt. So teilt man sich mit zwei Zimmern ein Bad und das finde ich Ok. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb der Stadt, aber man ist in 15 Min. mitten in der Berner Altstadt. Vorteil, nachts ist es so ruhig das man genügend Schlaf bekommt. In der eigenen Küche, die man sich ebenfalls mit maximal einem Zimmer teilt, passt es insgesamt gut und man hat genügend Grundausstattung zum Kochen!

Die Wände sind Aufgrund der Bauart etwas hellhörig, dass lässt sich aber nicht vermeiden. Darauf wird man im Haus hingewiesen und die Betreiber sind so nett und es liegen bei Bedarf hygienisch verpackte Ohropax im Zimmer bereit.

Uraltes, charmantes Bauernhaus (eigentlich Stall), absolut topmodern grundsaniert und stilvoll eingerichtet - das ist mutig, und der Mut wird für Gastgeberin UND Gast belohnt! Bravo, Anne und Mann :-) Trotz ausgeprägter Familienfreundlichkeit ist der Ort auch perfekt für Einzelgäste geeignet. Buchung, Check-in, Kommunikation: Alles tadellos!

Obiekt stanowi przerobione pomieszczenie gospodarskie. Miejsce ma swój klimat i urok. Pokoje są czyste i urządzone dobrze. Kuchnia (a właściwie dwie) jest bardzo dobrze wyposażona. Łazienka do własnej dyspozycji, acz z drobną uwagą. Gospodyni obiektu jest bardzo miła i pomocna.

Jedyną, małą niedogodnością, jest łazienka poza pokojem.
