Dream Valley Resort, Tonsai Beach

All good in general

Bathroom needs a renovation.

It was in a very quiet area on the hill above the bay. The pool was excellent and they provide your towels. There are restaurants close by that are quite decent. The climbing around there appears to be tremendous. We did not eat at the restaurant. The individual bungalows are really cool and private. The place was not particularly crowded when we were there so we had really no noise to contend with. They provide daily water and shampoo, which could be very handy.

The limited electricity was weird, but did not affect us much. Electricity is only shut off during the hours that you would expect to be exploring. Getting there was somewhat difficult and could be expensive. We took a long boat from Railey Beach West. It was not that expensive for us, but I would imagine it can get more expensive depending on when you go. You do have to be willing to get out of the boat and trudge through the water with your luggage. At least that was our experience.

The staff at Dream Valley Resort, Tonsai were great, very friendly, offered help and advice and were easy to communicate with for any queries we had. They always attended to us very quickly to make our stay more pleasant.

The first room we had was a bungalow that was not up to standard and the second room for my family didn't even have a fridge in, this was a 5 night stay. Very quickly that same evening we moved rooms to side by side rooms overlooking the pool which were better. The breakfast was not great, so we ate out nearby which was good and fairly priced
