Villa Adriatic Rooms

Beautiful view and it was great to have the pool.

Up a very steep hill to get both from the carpark to Villa and from the town centre to Villa. It is only a 10 minute uphill walk though. We were in room 12 and the ceiling is quite slanted so we all hit our heads when getting to the beds/desk. You did get hand soap and toilet roll, but they were the only toiletries provided.

Our host Amer was happy to help in anyway and we had great communication with him, he picked us up from bus station on arrival and took us to the airport. The villa was is a lovely location up in the hills but still only 10 minute walk down to beach and restaurants. Lovely pool and they offer home cooked dinners and breakfast at the villa. A great place to chill out with a lovely relaxed atmosphere close to Dubrovnik town but with the feeling of a quieter resort. Everything was perfect.

Nothing not to like, but due to location not suitable for someone with mobility issues.

We stumbled onto a hidden gem. From the start Amer and his family were very warm and welcoming creating a lovely atmosphere. They collected us from the airport, booked water taxis, provided beach towels and were very accommodating throughout our stay. This all felt very genuine and that nothing was too much for them. The rooms were exceptionally clean and newly refurbished with amazing mattress so slept very well. A treat to have a pool, small but enough for what we wanted. Breakfast was all fresh and homemade jams and produce from the garden.

Nothing we didn’t like it was really good value for money. It’s in a good location but you do have to climb steep steps to get to the beach, we didn’t mind this as you great views.

The location was good, close to the city marina and beach, and the bed was comfortable. The main host is friendly and was very responsive.

We booked the basic room, which shows pictures from two rooms on Booking: one spacious room with wooden furniture and sea view, and one that looks like a basement. Unfortunately we got the basement looking one. The room was very small, the ceiling very low (less than 2 meters high), and some parts made it look like the room was unfinished (you could see the inside of the walls around the bathroom door, which was not shown in the pictures). This basement room is underneath the terrace, so we woke up with the sound of sliding chairs at 7:30am. The wifi was also not great. On top of that, the hot water in the shower only lasted 3 min (twice), and when we mentioned it to the owners, the main host said they had not encountered that issue before, and his dad said "this is not the end of the world" (which is definitely true, but we were expecting a bit better than the end of the world for our holiday). Disappointing, and clearly too expensive for what you get. We would strongly recommend staying somewhere else.
