Guest House Villa Nina

Property is beautifully landscaped with lots of different levels with patio tables and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Location is wonderful as it is close to the promenade and the sea and some nice cafes and restaurants. Quiet at night. Communication was confusing as I sent in my arrival time more than once and had no response. Finally (the day of) was told I can't check in until 2 despite my messages saying my arrival was earlier. It didn't matter as I arrived after 2 anyway. No one was there when I arrived and I had to holler "hello" and wait around until someone showed up. It's a bit unnerving when you want to get to your room. This might just be the expedia communication services and not the property. The property contact number was not on WhatsApp though so that made things tricky. I had to lug my suitcase and bags up several flights of stairs so be prepared. The building is older, which is fine, but some decor/essentials could be updated a bit. Towels were threadbare and not very inviting to use. Room decor is just outdated and likely hasn't been changed since the building's opening. The shower in my room was quite small and I'd keep hitting the faucet and changing the temperature every time I turned around because there was no room to move. Also, no place to put your soap or shampoo in the shower (unless you use the top of the toilet). The shower curtain is also pretty useless as water ran out of the shower.

I had a great experience at Villa Nina. The check-in was easy and quick. The property was at a great location: not inside the Dubrovnik with its tourists and noise, but easily accessible with bus and boat. There property was beside a beach with great restaurants, bars and coffee on both sides. The place was very clean and well maintained. The host very friendly and helpful. My only small issue was that hot water would run out quickly but as I am used to taking cold showers it was not an issue for me. I am sure the host would take care of it if I asked. Bed was ok, beddings and towels very clean and well maintained. I didn’t use kitchen (too many good eats around) but it was well stocked, clean and convenient. There was a patio with great view of the water if you preferred to stay in and enjoy an afternoon drink or morning coffee. All in all a great experience. Highly recommend it.

The balcony, the terrace, the location right next to the beach, bus stop, and food options, the incredible service…everything was wonderful, it’s too hard to list it all!

Beautiful location! The rooms are not fancy, but had everything we needed. The grounds and view are incredible and our hosts were quite gracious. I wish we could have stayed longer.
