    Picked it because it claimed to be last renovated in 2021. Not sure what was renovated. A smallish hotel with 2 staff at night. One of them was rather friendly whereas the resat were so-so. No kettle was available so we had to get hot water in the lobby. (A fairly common situation in South America - heads up for Asian travelers) Location is good for public transport.

    Llegué al hotel y el departamento era de dos plantas con una escalera imposible de subir... En ningún momento aclaran eso mí hijo está en silla de ruedas y el baño de abajo no se podía utilizar con el de lo pequeño que era y el de planta alta fue imposible llevarlo. No había manera de subirlo. Tuvimos que resolver toda su higiene fuera del bañó....el frigobar no funciona........ lo único rescatable el personal de la trasnoche....lo demás no califica ni para una estrella ⭐

    : Mi estancia en Gran Hotel Buenos Aires fue muy decepcionante y, en ciertos aspectos, realmente alarmante. El hotel tiene una buena ubicación en el centro de la ciudad, con fácil acceso a todos los medios de transporte, lo cual es prácticamente su único punto positivo. Sin embargo, no entiendo cómo puede estar clasificado como un hotel de 4 estrellas. Las instalaciones son antiguas, el mobiliario está desgastado y el nivel general de mantenimiento es bajo. La comida tampoco estuvo a la altura: los productos del desayuno, especialmente la bollería y el pan, parecían poco frescos, como si llevaran días almacenados, y el sabor en general era muy pobre. Pero lo más grave, y algo que no puedo pasar por alto, fue un incidente extremadamente preocupante: a pesar de que la puerta de mi habitación estaba cerrada correctamente, un miembro del personal entró en la habitación a las 6:00 de la mañana sin previo aviso. Esto me despertó en estado de pánico total. Por un momento pensé que se trataba de un robo o algo mucho más grave. Esta situación representa una violación seria de la privacidad y genera una gran sensación de inseguridad para cualquier huésped. Presenté una queja formal por escrito a la recepción y también envié un correo electrónico a la administración del hotel, pero nunca recibí respuesta. English: My stay at Gran Hotel Buenos Aires was very disappointing and, in some aspects, truly alarming. The hotel is well located in the city center, with easy access to all means of transportation, which is practically its only positive point. However, I do not understand how this hotel is rated as a 4-star property. The facilities are outdated, the furniture is worn, and the overall standard of maintenance is poor. The food was also below expectations: breakfast items, especially pastries and bread, did not seem fresh and tasted as if they had been stored for several days. The most serious issue—and something I cannot overlook—was a very disturbing incident: despite the fact that my room door was properly closed, a staff member entered my room at 6:00 a.m. without any warning. This caused extreme panic, as I was deeply asleep and suddenly woke up in fear. For a moment, I thought it was a robbery or something even more dangerous. This represents a serious violation of privacy and raises major concerns about guest safety. I filed a written complaint at the reception and also sent an email to the hotel management, but I never received any response. The lack of reaction to such a serious incident is completely unacceptable. I am sharing this experience seriously to ensure other travelers are aware before booking.
