The grounds were lovely and had a really nice tropical feel. The location of the restaurant (right next to the beach) was also great. I found the staff friendly and helpful for the most part.
The accommodation was very disappointing (in Block O). It was spacious but very drab and the bathroom wasn't as clean as it could have been (bits of black mould between the tiles). The accommodation seemed like it hadn't been upgraded for quite a few years and so it really didn't feel like 4-star accommodation. While I was there I was locked out of the bathroom because the door lock jammed. Fortunately it happened while I was outside the bathroom (so couldn't get in) rather than inside (and unable to get out). The safe wasn't working either. The bathroom handle was replaced but the safe wasn't fixed. The bedding and towels were also very old which made them seem a bit grubby (although I'm sure they were actually clean). I've attached a photo of the lift to the room, which will give you some idea of the tired feeling of the place. The breakfast was Ok but didn't compare favourably with other hotels we stayed in in Thailand, in terms of variety and quality.

Nothing except location.
One of the worst resort I have ever been to. Staffs are so rude and misbehaved. Such a nightmare to experience. There are plenty of great hotels and resort nearby. Avoid this one in all cost.
Rooms are stinky and infested with mosquitoes. Facilities are non-existence.

Location was great. Easy walking distance to everything, town, beach, restaurants and bars but it wasn't too hectic or loud back at the room. Free parking. Good size room, big bathroom, good water pressure, nice big bath, big bed. Staff were polite and helpful.
This place needs some restoration as it would have been a premium property once upon a time. Room was thrashed. Bedside lamps broken, air con leaking onto the floor, no web connectivity to the TV, worn bedding, stains on the countertops, only very basic amenities. Breakfast was very average. Pool and dining area are quite run down.
Stayed in a luxury grand pool room. Don't expect luxury.

It is very relaxing and comfortable to stay at the Krabi Resort. The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was outstanding and have a cup of coffee by the beach was so nice.

The hotel needs a complete refurbishment. Everything looks run down. From scratched floors to unappetizing looking bathroom fixtures.and old furniture. Many items in the room did not work including power outlets cupboard door, etc. Sound insulation is also zero, so be prepared to woke up at 7:30 when the cleaning team is getting active.

Loved the location and the grounds.
We stayed 1 week and in that time the room and bathroom were never cleaned. The bed was made and they placed water bottles and toilet paper on the bench but that was it. Nothing was ever wiped, cleaned or swept. We asked twice to have the room cleaned but staff didn't appear to understand. The safe didn't work and again twice we reported it but nothing ever happened.

The location is the best part of this hotel. It is right on the beach with plenty chairs under the trees. The breakfast had a lot of options. The main street is right by the hotel making it super easy to go out and come back to grab an umbrella if needed.
The pool towels were not replaced consistently, but fresh towels were available at front desk. The drinking water was not refilled consistently, some days we had to ask for it. There were only two hangers in the closet.

We read the reviews and went with an open mind as to what we’d find. What we discovered was a lovely authentic Thai resort. The location is central, close to restaurants, shopping, beach clubs. Maintenance is being done and there is still plenty to go but the pools were clean, swim up bar operating, great kids play area. We had a Pool Villa and pool checked daily and cleaned during our 6 night stay. Beach is great and clean to swim in. Sun loungers under the trees…
Dining..The “restaurant” could be special but it’s like a temporary outdoor tent which leaked in the rain 😞. Breakfast Food is ok with enough of a selection but presentation and range could be improved on. Atmosphere is also lacking what could be a place with vibe.

The location, that’s about it.
Almost everything. When we booked we had requested two separate beds and were initially put in a single bed room, then moved to a “two bed” room that was just two twin beds pushed together with a single bottom sheet and two separate top sheets. The room wasn’t clean, the pillows smelled badly and we only had two for two people. When we asked for new ones they took almost a day and a half to arrive (which we had to call them about several times, despite feeling annoying). The staff tries their best but they are clearly understaffed and somewhat indifferent to the quality of the place. We didn’t swim in the pool because it looked questionable and half of the things in the room didn’t work (the lights, the TV). We are far from persnickety travelers and are genuinely easy to please (we don’t typically leave reviews either) but this place we were definitely paying for location and absolutely nothing else. The bathroom smelled like pee, and frankly the entire room was grimy and we felt dirty our entire stay. They gave us wet bath towels from the start and when we asked for new ones they were equally as dank. We kept bothering them to try and get the smelly pillows and towels replaced, but for one reason or another even our polite pestering was unsuccessful. Again, the people are perfectly pleasant but just seem to be unable (or are too burnt out to care) to improve situations. We really don’t leave reviews, but we rely on them for our trip so we felt obligated to share our experience here.

Great Location is the only positive..
It is an absolute shame as this hotel has so much promise..it is in a fantastic location in Krabi but the rooms and staff let it down.
We booked a Duluxe room, I am not sure how it could be described as ‘Deluxe’ ..the fabric of the soft furnishing were disgusting, the electrics were bordering on dangerous with sockets hanging out the wall and for 2 days we were waiting for Maintenance to fix our safe …when we raked to colleagues and Management at the front desk they totally unhelpful and just made constant excuses.
I was only when I made a formal complaint to Booking.com that some action was taken. The breakfast is like a school canteen …after travelling around Thailand for 3 weeks this has been by far our worst stay.

The place is very dated, furniture is old and worn, we had to ring the lobby many times just so we could have our room cleaned. The pool area had old torn furniture, the bar area was unused as it was old and visually unappealing. There was a swamp that surrounded the pool that was dirty and smelled. The whole place needs massive renovations.
The service was poor and the whole hotel is quite run down. Do not stay here!!

The location was good and easy to reach.
The room was very expensive compared to what it offered. It was incredibly dirty and damp, and the smell inside was unbearable. There were many dead insects and also live ones in the room, which made it impossible to feel comfortable. We couldn’t even close the door properly.
After complaining, we had to change the room, but the exact same problems occurred again. On top of that, it took the staff a very long time to organize and prepare the new room. The staff itself was okay, but the overall experience was terrible.
The bathroom was extremely old, with a yellow toilet bowl and a shower area that felt unhygienic. In general, the whole hotel felt outdated, dirty, and not worth the price at all.

My overall experience was really bad. The lock was broken in my first room. They sent me to another room after I complaint. That room was worse than before. The flush did not work in the toilet. There were no facial tissues in the room. The electric kettle was dirty and was also broken. There was no water for drinking. I called Reception three times for water bottles, but they did not sent it.
Finally, out of anger I called them asking to give me check out and full refund of my amount so that I can go to another hotel. Then, they transferred me to third room which was infront of lobby. The third room was much better and was in a good condition. Wished they should have given me this room before 🥲🥲

The staff were friendly and very understanding! They helped us salvage our stay in Krabi and did all they could to help us settle in. We were upgraded to the Luxury rooms, which are the newer rooms in the resort thankfully. The resort is very well located in Krabi and a lot of nightlife is within walking distance and a cheap tuk-tuk ride to anything further.
This was one of the older resorts in Krabi. We booked the deluxe rooms, and the first rooms we were allocated, smelt like they hadn't been used in a long time. There was an extremely stale smell that hit you, the moment you walked through the door and every time you walked out and back in again. We couldn't stay in one of the two rooms we had booked the first night, it smelt so bad, and opted to all squeeze into the least smelly room. The bathrooms were old, not very clean and also in dire need of refurbishing. Some of the paneling in the rooms had cracks and warped from the condensation from the AC. The rooms we had, faced the pubs, which we could hear loud music from till late at night. Not the best when you are trying to rest after a long day of traveling.

Having stayed here five years ago I was disappointed to find just how run down it looks. The pool area is not in a good state of repair, there was ongoing noise from Aircon fans in the roof, electricity problems daily, so much so that we all had to move rooms which also had their issues with electricity supply. The place needs a really good refurb, however the staff were really helpful and did their best to sort things out.

When we arrived we were really pleased with the hotel. The rooms were very nice and had good access to the pool. It was in a good position in Ao Nang and we had booked it as it was right on the beach which was also good. The staff on reception were very friendly and our rooms were ready early for us which also made for a very smooth check in.
The pool area needed some maintenance on it. It was obviously really nice when it was first built but the whole pool area needed cleaning. We had a few issues with our rooms and had to be moved from our first one due to no electricity but then our second room wasn't as nice. It smelt and had a few maintenance issues which did eventually get sorted after asking three times.

The location was absolutely perfect - right on the beach but away from the crowds and right next to the big bars with the fire shows . The other end of the resort takes you right onto the Main Street with all the bars , restaurants , shops and a little food market . Despite all this around , the resort was like a little Oasis - quiet , beautiful gardens - pretty accommodation and a great pool with swim up bar .
Rooms were a bit tired but it added to the Thai experience ! We loved it !

Staff were terrible. Breakfast was not eatable for us. Flys on the food. Noise drilling all day next to our room, would of been nice to of been told maintenance was happening. Rooms smell and air conditioning, gee I would love to see how dirty they are inside and what’s coming through them. 🙃
Pool bar shouldn’t be advertised because no one is ever there and it’s so ran down. No music working either, no food available at pool bar as advertised.

The staff at the front counter were not accommodating at all. They either didnt understand or didn't want to help. They even tried to double charge me on arrival after I already paid through booking .com took an hr to dispute it even though I showed statements .
There was no pool bar staff we had to ask for a bar person and he didnt want to be there at all he made 1 drink then he locked up and left. . The pool water was warm didnt cool you down and didnt see anyone clean it.. shower was leaking and wet everyday on the floor the toilet clogged.. there was maitnance making a noise everyday in the morning woke us up drilling . The breakfast was terrible and bugs and ants on the condiments put us off. The only good thing about it was the location.
