Too expensive for what it is

The location was perfect steps away from the historical city center Breakfast was not extravagant but still quite enjoyable, although the breakfast room was small and dark

The "100% non smoking" room strongly smelled of smoke. When I asked about the possibility to switch to another room, I was told this was not possible due to the hotel beeing fuly booked but also that some "aiur freshener" would be used in the room... which never happened. The shower-head was limescale-encrusted to the point that the water would flow horizontally out its edges.

Situated well and and suited our requirements well.

Overall it was just what the 8 of us needed for an overnight stop on the way to Bordeaux. Close to bars and restaurants which suited us.

well located.

well located for the old city and city centre and with a 6euro deal for 24hrs in the nearby underground parking that beats 30 at the parking meters.

the mould in the bathroom especially around the non-opening window and the ceiling. Paint peeling off of the bathroom ceiling and a rotting bathroom door all due to a lack of ventilation in there. Also, it is so cramped that you cannot, unless you are small, sit straight on the toilet as the wall comes across you knees.

There are cockrouches. I forgot my phone and called one hour later. The reception told me that they asked the cleaning staff but unfortunately nobody found it. Obviously, the hotel can't control properly their cleaning staff.

- The bathroom wasn’t clean in the 1st room I got. than they gave me another room - During breakfast when you push on the coffee machine for cappuccino , you get hot chocolat

price; working aircon; location somewhat off center but not that bad really;

communication about storing bicycles was confusing; at first it was no problem, the day of arrival i got a mail it would cost 3€ per bike parking; upon arrival staff told me to just put the bikes in the room (no charge mentioned); taking the bikes in the elevator (5th floor) was challenging and putting them in the room was tight, but after all it all went fine for a night;
