Good location and comfortable stay

Great location in Montparnasse with many restaurants within walking distance. A large underground parking garage is about a 5-minute walk away, which is very convenient. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, making the stay overall pleasant.

The shower area leaks easily, so after showering the bathroom floor gets quite wet. This was the main downside of the stay.

Comfort and location

Too much noise between floors and rooms, you can hear building cracking and people from other rooms. Could not sleep due to that.

my room had slanted roof so it was difficult to guage size, not really a big size room - bear min space around bed only one time drinking water, mini bar and toiletteries even drinking water to be filled on your own from reception

Overall OK but nowhere near enough for a 4-star hotel

- Decent location - Staff is friendly - Free mini bar and soft drinks in lobby

- A/C was not at all working properly, room was hot and I had to keep the window open to have fresh cold air - Room is super small but manageable

Great would come again!

Bed is nice and comfortable and a nice size for two people, the bathroom is very clean, the lights are very nice especially as a girl who likes to do her makeup. There are bakery’s and restaurants right down the street from the hotel. Hotel is a 30-45min walk (down hill ) from the Eiffel tower. The neighborhood is nice and we felt pretty safe walking at night. If it’s your first time in Paris all the attractions are like a 10-15euro bolt/uber ride from the hotel. The AC is great and kept us cool during the July heat.

Just an fyi the hotel is pretty small, they have an elevator but its small so maybe not the best for people who feel claustrophobic, the hallways are also small. Room 44 on the 4th floor is pretty small the door barely makes it past the bed, but for a couple who stayed there for 3 nights and were in our room just to sleep it was great for the price we paid especially in July.

We checked out 15 minutes after checking in because the room was disgusting and not as advertised

Friendly staff at the front desk

The room was unclean, and unsafe for children. The room had a disgusting smell, and we were unable to open the window as there was no safety latch and we have young children (we were five stories up). We checked out 15 minutes after checking in and stayed at a different hotel. How this hotel can be considered a four star hotel is unbelievable, I have stayed in better two star hotels. The pictures online were nothing like the room we were given, and I am thoroughly disappointed in booking.com for false advertising.

A tiny bit above expectations!

Everything was very good. Actually beyond my expectations. Staff was helpful and nice, and made sure to cover all our needs both before and during our stay. The room was pretty good, everything worked well, everything was clean, and the bed was amazing.

The room is a little small for two suitcases, but the space itself was good.

Mostly nothing was likeable

The room was much smaller than the pictures. The footsteps from the floor above was audible. Even when it was little steps. It was very annoying. Location was far from train station.

Bad

The bathroom was full of hair . it was disgusting. they changed my room but there was still hair on the floor. i couldn’t sleep in such a dirty room. they refused to reimburse me and only offered breakfast. i had to go to another hotel and pay again

Good trip

nice location, it looked closer to the touristy stuff on the map, but it really wasn't. Paris is always expensive and the hotel as small and quaint as it is, was the best value for the money.

I'd stay here again

The people here were very nice. They reserved a taxi for me as I was taking a early morning train & wanted to side step the Metro. It was nice to have a frig in the room. There were places to eat close by, a bakery, the Metro & several small grocery stores too.

Well placed but just not up the 4 stars standards.

The hotel is well placed, close to Montparnasse and ten mins on foot for all the restaurants and bars that makes Paris by night what it is. The hotel is in a calm street which permits to have restful nights with very comfortable beds even in older rooms.

Rooms on the east side of the hotel stinks very bad because the air conditioning is wrongly connected to the toilets pipes, so it is pumping all the awful smells from the sewer (I had to change to room to assess that). So I had to demand the staff to not start air conditioning when i wasn't there to avoid the awful smell. The rooms on this side also have stains on the walls and sometimes too small wardrobes which one would not expect from a 4 stars hotel. Hopefully the staff is understanding and told me they are going to have renovation work on these rooms, just too bad I did not have an impact on the price, which remained a "4stars" price.
