Our arrival and welcome at the hotel were truly amazing. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Whitney and Olivia were so friendly, warm and eager to assist with anything we needed. A very special mention must go to Lourens and Layla, who are absolute assets to the hotel. Lourens, in particular, went above and beyond. Even though he was off duty, he went out of his way to get us an umbrella and personally walked with us all the way to our rooms in the rain. That kind of genuine hospitality and willingness to go the extra mile really stood out. Every time we saw him, including when he served us in the Gannet Restaurant, he was friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome. The bar staff were equally fantastic. The service throughout was friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere made our stay feel very special. The wonderful staff and exceptional hospitality really made an impression on us. Whitney, Olivia, Lourens and Layla deserve special recognition for the way they represent the hotel. People like them are what turn a hotel stay into a memorable experience. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Unfortunately, there was one issue with the room. The air-conditioning unit kept dripping water directly onto my head, which was quite uncomfortable and definitely needs some attention. They could have given Marriott’s member a better price for the gin tasting as it was our birthdays. Ashlea was reprimanding a staff member in front of guests.

DSTV remote was faulty Building repairs underway with an angle grinder in the room next door - so we were moved to another room. The next room had a faulty shower/basin plumbing issue But...the staff were very responsive and courteous..and went the extra mile..so hats off to them.
