Spacious rooms with great view. Sauna. Animation. Beach in front of the hotel.
A wide variety of food is offered, but the overall quality is low to average (with the exception of the NY dinner). For example, there is almost no fresh fruit - more than 80% is canned, which is quite surprising given the location and the hotel’s rating. The pool is crowded most of the time.
The reception staff does not respond to messages sent well in advance multiple times.
However, other staff members are welcoming and pleasant.

Cleanliness and comfort.
Building works, inflexibility to support. We both contracted influenza type A. Within 2 hours of being in hotel room, tickle cough. Lots of people coughing. Very ill. Hospital visit, meds, resting. At £350 a night 4 star when asked for room service for soup to room declined, told to go to restaurant with mask. Terrible. Also constant banging was told builders need to do their work. ... not what you need when vulnerability on holiday, stuck in hotel room. If availability elsewhere would've checked out. Not used AI and no offer to refund or support. Had to request water several times. Reception good customer service but decisions are with management and poor decisions made. Stayed on island many times, many years. My advice is book elsewhere especially if you are a family. I felt like we were in their hotel, we were not guests, just stayers who needed to conform. As if they were doing us a favour allowing us to stay in their hotel... felt awful. Not that we had paid a significant sum as deserved to be treat and receive a service we paid for. Food repetitive. Looked well presented but same ingredients just used different. Back and pool bar food better than we have had at other hotels. House wine awful. Lounge bar we looked in and walked out. Cramped, stuffy. The staff try hard in difficult circumstances. There were leaks, towels repairs ongoing but think that's down to the poor unexpected weather. Just couldn't wait to get home and out of there.
