Home away from home with free WIFI. 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 7 guests in comfort.
The cottage is sunny, recently insulated and has plenty of heating options including a heat pump which ensures you are warm in Winter and cool in Summer. There is also a Wood burner with plenty of dry firewood available. Recently painted and re carpeted throughout.
All new modern furnishings make this the perfect retreat after walking the Tongariro Crossing or Skiing the mountain. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and carport. Comfortable beds, the bunk beds have new inner sprung mattresses and all beds have electric blankets in winter and feather duvets. Freeview TV available with a Chrome Caster provided for you to stream your favourites. The back section is full of fruit trees laden with fruit in the summer months. The house is Property Managed and prepared by professional cleaners. Minimum hire 2 nights.
Centrally located, 40 mins to Whakapapa Ski field, 5 minutes to Tokaanu hot pools, 5 mins to Tongariro river. Walk to town. Great base for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, skiing Mount Ruapehu and Fishing the famous Tongariro river.
Trout Cottage is right next door to Trout House and Trout Retreat, the fences have been removed between these 3 houses making them ideal accommodation for several families. Trout Cottage is 2 doors away from Pihanga Views and Trout Hideaway, and 3 doors away from Turangi Bach and Walnut Cottage. All these houses are in a quiet cul-de-sac in Turangi and perfect for families or larger groups travelling together.
Special conditions:
Two night minimum stay.
Extras: Cleaning (NZ$70.00 per stay); Linen (NZ$20.00 per person);

The batch is comfortable and clean,Supplied with all the comforts of home. We especially enjoyed travelling up to the mountain and meeting the locals around the place.
