Pippis a Classic Beach House

Perfect location. Under 5 min walk tothe beach

The location was definitely a highlight - it was just a short walk to the beach and the local general store and coffee van, which made it easy to pick up any essentials. The setting was perfect for a relaxing getaway.

There were a few aspects of our stay that left us disappointed. The cleanliness of the house was not up to expectations. We found it quite difficult to maintain cleanliness during our stay and to our dismay, there was noticeable mould on one of the bedroom walls and on the vertical blinds in the bathroom and kitchen. This was a bit concerning, especially for the price we paid. Additionally, the house runs on tank water, which meant that the hot water ran out quickly. With a family of five, there was always someone having to take a cold shower, which wasn’t as bad because the weather was warm during our stay. However, I can imagine that in the cooler months, this could become a real hassle and would be quite uncomfortable. The dishwasher didn’t have any rinse aid so it was very difficult for us to keep all our plates and cutlery clean. Another downside was the lack of provided linen. For the cost of the rental, we really expected that linen would be included. It’s an added inconvenience to have to bring or rented separately, and it certainly didn’t feel like good value when combined with other cleanliness issues.

The house was dated and dirty. Broken blinds. All dishes needed washing before using, still covered in dried food etc
