There were many things to like about our stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, always making us feel welcome. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and always served on time. Considering the current cost of accommodation and breakfast outings, the stay was excellent value for money.
The accommodation itself was quaint, lovely, and comfortable. One pleasant surprise was discovering that the advertised pool is heated, which made evening swims really enjoyable. The coffee and tea in the room were refreshed daily, and the rooms were cleaned each time they were restocked, which was a nice touch.
The property also has several lovely communal spaces where you can relax and unwind, adding to the overall warm and comfortable atmosphere.
However, there were a few areas that could be improved. Apart from the WiFi password being displayed, most information about the property and communal spaces was communicated verbally after receiving the keys. The layout was slightly confusing, as two guest rooms open directly into the shared lounge and kitchen area, giving the impression that it may be a private two-bedroom unit. Since these spaces are actually communal and shared between guests, clearer signage or written guidance would help avoid any awkwardness or uncertainty when using them.
The shower itself was lovely and had great water pressure, but unfortunately the drain struggled to keep up. Water would often build up while showering and occasionally spill out of the enclosure onto the bathroom floor, even when towels were placed down. Although the water drained quickly once the shower was switched off, it was still a little inconvenient during use.

It was clean and tidy and the full DSTV was a bonus. It was very centrally located and close to the airport. The breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in earlier than normal check-in time which was lovely.
The room was a bit cramped. There was no cupboard to unpack our suitcases. No milk was provided. The kettle didn't switch off automatically. No ice trays in the fridge either, but we were able to get ice from the dining room.
