The perfect place for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Cologne

The hotel Wilms is located in a quiet suburb in the outskirts of Cologne. While there aren't a lot of big attractions nearby, there is a tram only 5 minutes walk from the hotel that takes you to downtown Cologne in about 15 minutes or so. The room was very comfortable, well equipped, and extremely clean! The staff were also friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Cologne at an affordable price.

Great place in Cologne

The hotel was great. Clean, comfortable, all furniture was selected with taste and relatively new. Nothing better than a hot shower after a long day! Breakfast was also amazing, a wide range of things and the owners were lovely. Absolutely recommend!

Basic hotel but spotlessly clean and welcoming

Room was basic but clean and comfortable, the bottled water was welcome. The lady who welcomed me to the hotel was exceptionally helpful. Location was good for my place of business.

It isnt the fault of the hotel but it should be noted that everything in the locality is closed on a Sunday and Monday although there is information in the room on ordering food in, and ordering a taxi to go out ( although I just used Uber). Perhaps it would be worth considering some tea/coffee making facilities in the room,

Comfortable stay in a quiet area

The hotel is away from the city centre, but was good for my work location so enabled me to walk in in the morning. Staff were very helpful. Room was very clean, comfortable and a good size.

The hotel provides a breakfast, but there is no bar or restaurant, and people should bear in mind that in that locality if you have no car there are no bars/restaurants/shops open on a Sunday or Monday. Its not a criticism, its just how it is.

Very friendly owners who were very helpful in guiding us around the local area. They pointed us to a restaurant up the road where they serve classic (from a German perspective!) Slavic food, and the restaurant was also brilliant!

Ruhiges, preisgünstiges Hotel mit guter ÖPNV-Anbindung. Nur 15 Gehminuten zum WDR, EMG & Co.

Ein nettes, gemütliches und vorallem entschleunigtes Privathotel. Also keine 0815-Kette. Das Bett war sehr bequem und es gab im Zimmer sogar ein Bügelbrett mit Eisen. Der Kleiderschrank ist beleuchtet und generell hatte das Zimmer eine geräumige Diele.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr freundliches und sauberes Hotel. Kühlschrank und Tresor vorhanden und einsatzbereit. Kaffee, Tee und Wasserkocher vorhanden. Gut funktionierende digitale App.

Fernbedienung vom Klimagerät fehlte, wodurch der Raum etwas kühl war. Zweites Kissen wäre schön gewesen (schlafe höher gelegen).
