Very poor

It was high up on a cliff side, not suitable for children, it had a lot of fleas which we were all bitten by everyday. The WiFi did not work.

Sleepless in Varazze

The apartment is big and spacious. It is clean and has everything that self catering appartment should. The view from the balconies is great. Hosts were very welcoming and kind. We had an accident with the shutters and they just reasured us not to worry and fixed them on the spot.

The apartment is located 3.4 km from the beach accessed by a very narrow twisty road. Its a 14 minute drive. You cannot walk to the beach clubs or the main strip. It's situated in a small village where there are plenty of dogs which bark twentyfour hours a day. One pair of dogs in particular, which were locked in a cage 10 meters from the house, forced us to try to sleep in the sitting room on a pull out couch. The village wakes early to the rooster call at dawn. They cut grass and get on with daily life, so if you need a restful place this is not for you. One of the neighbors had a halogen flood light which shone into the bedroom all night and with high temperature we could not close windows or blinds, further adding to sleepless frustration.
