I have visited a number of 5 star hotels in Scandinavia, Southern Europe and the US and this was maybe the best experience so far. All in all.
The sunbeds was luxury, the food, snacks and drinks was superb and clearly affordable. The room, 80square m of luxury.
The service before and during stay was personal, proactive and caring. We had two small kids and despite this not being a ”waterland or resort”, the kids had a fantastic time.
We will return!!
The bed, I guess a premium bed, was a bit to stiff for my taste.

Excellent breakfast with a variety of local and continental options, great location and clean facilities! The location was perfect as it was a short walk to the harbour. A recommendation for the restaurant Nostos nearby! The beach front was beautiful and even tho the hotel was by the road, you could not hear any traffic noice in the room. We did not have time to try the beach, but there were comfy looking sunbeds and complimentary sandwiches available privately to the hotel guests. A great one night stay during our trip to Crete <3

Excellent well presented, recently refurbished hotel; with professional, courteous and friendly staff. Room with a sea view, jacuzzi and beach with parasol and sun loungers provided across the road. Chef provided wonderful food in the hotel restaurant and plenty available along the seafront on route to the Rethymno old town. The Hotel Manager (Aris) provided a family atmosphere with his staff. Highly recommended hotel to stay in Rethymno.

The staff was wonderful, extremely helpful, gave us great advise about were to go and arrange a fantastic trip to Samaria gorge.
The room was dark and very noisy, the room is very close to the main road and therefor it was mostly noisy even in the middle of the night.
