    The Duck Hotel was homely. Obviously it was a waterfowl themed hotel with ducks of all shapes and sizes inveigling themselves into my line of sight, resting by my room mirror, peeking at me from the shower curtains as I brushed my teeth and spying on my toilet too. It wasn’t actually disturbing but, somehow, duckily comforting. The Duck's hôtelière, Bee (of Chinese descent, born and bred on the same strip of road for 58 years), was ever kind and ever helpful. She was an absolute treasure with her big welcoming smile and positive attitude, making me feel most welcomed at her establishment.

    The staff was super nice an kind. The room was spotless. Bright clean bedsheets and bedding, towels and floors. We love Phuket old town so the position was perfect. The only thing is above us there were noisy people so I’d request a room at top floor next time. Not the hotel’s fault, this place is really good, just rude guests and this can happen. Recommend 100% and would come back!!

    We came here for short vacay 3D2N to celebrate NYE countdown 2026 in Patong but choose to stay here because we want take tour at Phuket Old Town too. The location is strategic close to shops, restaurant, 7 Eleven by walking distance only. From the hotel to Patong beach around 30min+ by car depends on the traffic. The room superb clean OMG we're amazed with this. The bed & pillows so comfy. We felt like we at home here. Forgot to take photos of the room because we do busy go in out but the room really clean. Daily cleaning upon request, you can left the room key at reception desk. Even not many floor but have lift also which is very convenience. The owner & housekeeping also very friendly & helpful too. Thanks alots. We felt warmth welcomed. The owner even waited for us upon arrival because we arrived in the night around 9pm - 10pm and welcomed us with friendly. On top of that, really recommended for good value, comfy & location. Definitely will repeat to stay here again.
