Ferienwohnung Walter

Fantastic sized apartment close to Europa Park! Ideal for two sharing families. Air con in the bedrooms was absolutely a godsend during the heatwave! Location was close to train station for Europa park. Great bakery and ice cream place a few doors down. Supermarket a 20 minute walk away.

No washing machine or launderette nearby. As we were there five days a washing machine would have been useful. Also towels were not replaced at all which would have been nice. This apartment was also located in a pretty quiet village - bear this in mind if arriving late as no shop open late for even a bottle of water and the local restaurant only opens weds-sat.

Het was een heerlijk ruim appartement met meer dan genoeg plek voor ons viertjes. Erg fijn dat mijn grote kinderen hun eigen kamer hadden, inclusief airco, en dat de bedden lekker lang en breed zijn. De douche was prettig en de aanwezigheid van twee toiletten was ook een groot pluspunt. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig, zoals theedoeken, handdoeken, een afwasborstel, afwasmiddel, handzeep en toiletrollen. Daarnaast was het heel fijn dat we de rolluiken konden sluiten, waardoor gordijnen eigenlijk niet gemist werden. Op de warmste avond was de ventilator in de woonkamer ook een fijne toevoeging. Perfecte locatie voor als je Europark en/of Rulantica bezoekt.

Het contact rondom het inleveren van de sleutels verliep wat lastig, omdat ik de contactpersoon niet kon bereiken. Uiteindelijk hebben we het opgelost door de sleutels in de deur achter te laten, maar ik had haar graag nog even persoonlijk ontmoet en de hand geschud. 🙂

Location is great for visiting Europa park, Schwarzwald and France

Apartment is in basement what was not mentioned on Booking. Thin walls so you can hear every word pronounced in apartment above. The linen had a stale odor. I don't know how Ferienwohnung Walter got such high ratings. There is another apartment on first floor with terrace, Guess this high ratings is for that apartment.
