Absolutely brilliant stay - I didn’t want to leave.

Everything - the peaceful, quiet, secluded location, enclosed, well-maintained garden with a picnic bench, comfortable, clean furnishings &interior, lovely decor, every necessary facility available and accessible, great shower, comfortable bed. Bonus - blankets provided for covering the sofa and beds to prevent dog hairs getting on them. I always bring my own, and now I know I don’t need to when I return for another stay. It was a really thoughtful touch. I really loved my stay here.

Beatiful scenery, loevly hide away form stress

The Location is fantastic, Very nice screnery. Quiet peaceful and very picturesc. The facilities were ok, however we didnt use the oven or the wash mashine- dryer. The shower is ok, however the water pressure is very low. All in all we spent a very nice quiet evenings there, we used the place as our base location to discover Scotland. Thank you Rosie. We sure we will come back again.

Water pressure in the shower, also the toilet is wobbly so I had to be careful sitting down. It's a lovely little cottage, needing some TLC. The cleanliness is not 100%, but ok. Some spiderwebs and dead midges on many surfaces. We tried to clean them every day, so I guess is not an easy task, so apologies for the feedback.

Balure Cottage

The cottage was situated in a very quiet and scenic location which was ideal for nearby walks. It was comfortable, well equipped and ideal for a couple with a dog. It was also handy for the nearby Smokery.

The location of the cottage was stunning, peaceful, isolated and included everything we needed. The cottage was clean and had as an extra bonus an open hearth. There are lovely walks around and the smokehouse provided essential items and lovely coffee.

There was no wifi, however, 4G was very good and we were there to relax not to get stressed out by internet. I can't really think of anything I did not like.

Garden cottage

Fantastic location, quiet, peaceful. Great views and grounds for dog and kids to play in. Received fabulous welcome hamper of smoked salmon, fresh eggs, bacon, local butter, sourtbread and marmalade. Cottage very comfy and there was wifi (despite what other reviews have said). Cafe on site with super ice cream sundaes. Lots to do in area - walks from the door, superb beaches and forests, easy trips to local islands. Will definitely be back.

Very comfortable, had everything needed for a family holiday. Beautiful location. Lovely walks and plenty to keep children entertained.

Could have been cleaned more thoroughly prior to arrival. Surfaces were clean but we spent a long time hoovering- sofas and carpets had lots of dog hair. We had small children and high chair was available but needed thorough clean.

The peace and quiet.

Very minor. The gate didn't latch and our dog although well behaved is a runner given any tiny chance. The grill pan was not clean.
