Budget Hostel

Lovely

A decent venue but was a very strange foreign man kept pestering us for cigarettes and every time we went to the toilet he was stood outside on the landing. Thought about knocking him out but was having too much of a good time. Maybe remind your permanent guests that it's a backpacking hostel and not a flat.

The fact that I could park nearby without restriction. It's reassuring that the police station effectively covers the rear of the property where my car was parked.

The kitchen's a bit makeshift, basically an ex bedroom with a fridge table microwave, kettle but no utensils. You had to visit the Gents to get water. The three sets of three tier beds are squeezed into a small room. We had an unfortunate fellow guest. Not the hostel's fault, but it made for a less than satisfactory sleep experience. There was no lounge, so I jumped in my car and drove down to the hotel. Du Vin for a beer and a 'rise of atmosphere'. If you were a guest on foot, I believe a buzz would take you down a similar route. Of course there's always the weather spoons opposite, which I didn't notice until a late hour.
