Boschendal Farm Estate

Excellent staff and super attentive. Many things to do - the garden tour with Yolanda was the highlight and well as horseback riding. We really enjoyed the hospitality, food, wines and sights!

The property itself is absolutely beautiful, but what truly made our stay special was the incredible attention and hospitality from the staff. We were celebrating our honeymoon and were so thoughtfully welcomed with a room upgrade, a bottle of wine, chocolates, and a complimentary wine tasting. These little touches made us feel truly special. Breakfast was also included and was excellent. We especially appreciated that the team was kind enough to accommodate us even though we arrived late for breakfast. We would highly recommend staying here. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

The only small downside was the 10:00 AM check-out time. Since breakfast also ends at 10:00 AM, it doesn’t leave much time to enjoy a slow, relaxing morning at the property before leaving. That being said, it was only a minor detail and certainly didn’t take away from our wonderful stay.

Boschendal estate is amazing - so much to see and do!

The house was nice (absolutely nothing wrong) but I must admit from the photos did look more luxurious

Location great, retreat cottages pleasant. Sauna and ice tub. Food and service at Arum Restaurant. Manor House and Herb gardens

We first went to the main Boschendal Estate to check in as it is not clear where to go. We then had to go to the Retreat cottages side to check in. Breakfast staff very slow on serving or removing dirty plates. The exit from the reception walkway is very dangerous as there is a hedge that obscures the road and guests cannot see cars going up or down and be knocked over!(especially children) The lack of signs and dirt road to the Sauna. Arum Restaurant is soulless, no art or pictures on walls or floor rugs or background music. It was a lovely evening so why not open the patio doors up for guests?
