Private electricity back up. This much loved family home is perfect for a relaxing holiday. There are 5 ensuite bedrooms, amazing living space and a heated swimming pool and garden paradise for children. There is great indoor and outdoor entertaining space with stacking doors leading onto the patio and pool. There is also a playroom and man-cave with bar and pool table. This spacious home would be great for a single family or 2 families to share.

The overall stay was excellent. There were two issues to note. First the electricity was cut off for six hours or so each day and inconveniently always between 1600-2000 or thereabouts so we were reliant on candles during this time with no lights or music and even the gate bell did not work. I think that a house demanding this sort of rent should have an inverter which would have e sired a continuous supply - friends we visited had an inverter and they had no problem with the electricity shut downs. The second issue was the alarm system and the alarm going off in the middle of the night as a reaction to the power shutdown - once the back up batteries had been replaced this problem was solved but I think the batteries ought to have been checked and replaced before they barème a problem. Disrupted nights on holiday are not needed. To be fair to the owner they did respond and fix the problem.
