Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was perfectly fine for our stay, although the mattresses have definitely seen better days.
The hotel itself is a beautiful old building with loads of character. It could do with a bit of freshening up in places, but it was absolutely fine for what we needed.
There’s a great pool room/bar downstairs packed with LFC memorabilia, which the kids loved. Again, it could do with a bit of a tidy-up, but we really enjoyed spending time down there.
The location is excellent for Anfield and, having looked at quite a few options in the area, I’d say it offers better value than a lot of the other nearby hotels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and may well use it again.

Location and friendly staff. Our room had good facilities and a great kitchen.
Really could do with a refresh in both decoration and soft furnishings (pillows , towels etc)
Attention to detail in the clean.
