Excellent location, great for a cheap and cheerful weekend with friends

The location is amazing, super close to the skiing gondola and there's a small convenience store that's really close by. The reply time was also very impressive from the hosts- I was able to call them and they'd immediately pick up, ready to help with any questions.

The lift was broken whilst we were there and we actually ended up getting stuck! I'm sure this isn't true all of the time but it's something I'd warn against. Also the kitchen utensils are fairly limited but again for the price I'm really just being picky.

Ok for a few nights

Close enough location to the gondola Big apartment, enough room for 5-6 people 2 full bathrooms

The room cards kept disconnecting, so each day we had to go to a different building to activate them. At the location we discovered that thre was no central heating or radiatiors, only electric radiators. There were 4 air heaters in the apartment that barely heated the apartment, and you had to keep them plugged in non stop, which was a bit scary. If you turned them off, after half an hour the room was cold. Moreover, if we plugged these air heaters into certain sockets, the electrical panel fuse would trip, if we turned the air heater to a higher setting the same thing would happen. We had to alternate plugs There were water boilers in both bathrooms, however after 2 showers the hot water run out, so you had to wait to take another shower, which is a bit inconvenient if multiple people are sharing the bathroom.

Good option for a ski purpose travel

The apartment is clean and fully equipped. The location is very close to the ski gondola, within walking distance. For parking, there is a public parking lot on the street. The cost is approx. 5 EUROS per day. I recommend paying for parking immediately because there is almost permanent surveillance and the wheels are blocked. Overall, it is a very good choice for those who come to Banscko to ski.

Pleasant experience

Very close to the gondola. Rooms where big. Wifi was good. Heating even though through electric heaters was very warm. Enough parking places, mostly paid but i manage to find free parking space each day.

The sofa bed was not very confortable. There was no soap, only 2 toilet paper rolls for 6 days. No washing machine. Linen and towels where not changed during our stay

We had a great stay at Alexander Apartments and they fit exactly what we needed. I would stay there again, particularly

- Location - quick walk to the gondola and close to supermarkets - Large rooms - beds were comfy and there was plenty of storage - Balcony - Clean - Kitchen had enough equipment for cooking - No noise - Good to have a central phone number to call if we had issues and they were responsive over the booking. com messenger beforehand

- By far the biggest issue was that there was only one key card per apartment meaning we were sharing one key between 4. We asked and apparently no other keys were available. This was pretty annoying as different people wanted to ski at different times. - We booked two apartments but they were not in the same block, they were only a 2 min walk away but still frustrating. - The lifts were broken - Heating is via fan heaters. It feels like a fire risk to leave them on all day/night meaning the apartment can get a bit cold if you don’t do that. - Only one big bath towel per person - Kitchen roll, antibacterial spray and extra toilet roll and bin bags were not provided

Pleasant

The property is really big and comfy. It has a lot of room space, two bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. It is near the gondola lift (5-7 minutes by foot), and at the same time is away from the noise and crowd of the city center. You can get to the center in 15-20 mins by foot.

I didn't like the communication with the host. If I haven't called the host to ask how will I get the key, I guess the host wouldn't call me to tell me. There is lack of communication channels with the host (no viber, no whatsapp or anuthing), you will have to call the host and pay some international minutes for the call. Also there was a lot of dust in the apartment, it was relatively clean but there was a lot of dust on the sofa, wardrobes, curtains...
