Fantastic design of this resort - superb art and architecture with wonderful well kept gardens and swimming pools and great sea view rooms/cottages. Boutique at its best. Lovely birds and iguanas too. Restaurant overlooking the beach.
The food was fine but not the best I have had along this coast. Perhaps I didnt choose the right dishes.
The resort was also a little empty perhaps due to the season so it felt almost too quiet. There was also confusion about payment and I had to prove I had already paid one of the two nights. Also a bit isolated vis a vis taxis but great for people with cars.

The staff were very friendly. I liked the overall concept of the individual cottages. Being near the beach was wonderful.
Overall the place was fine, a bit dated (lots of ants in parts of our room) and strange to have no window coverings on the entry sliding doors off our patio. Wasn’t overly impressed with the food as it was just marginal. Regarding the pools… the long pool was very murky/dirty so never saw it being enjoyed. The 1/2 round one was fine as used with the kids. Spent most of our day time off the property.

Beautiful and well maintained property. Very spacious, and comfortable room with a stunning view of the coconut tree dotted beach right in front of the suite. A long stretch of beach is exclusively owned by the hotel, so it is quiet and clean. Friendly staff. Restaurant is great too. We had the best meal here during our stay in Costa Rica.
