About this house rental

Most of the day happens in the backyard. The screened lanai covers the pool, a dining table and lounge chairs, so breakfast, a swim and dinner off the grill all happen in one place, without bugs. A privacy fence keeps the yard to yourselves.

Inside, the living room opens straight onto the lanai. The split floor plan puts the master suite on one side of the house and the two guest rooms with the hall bath on the other, so parents and kids each have their own space.

For the beach, Anna Maria Island is to the west. Downtown Bradenton and the Riverwalk are to the east. Publix and a 24-hour Walgreens are within walking distance.

While the space is very nice the home is in desperate need of a thorough cleaning and painting. There were cob webs on the ceiling and dust everywhere. I had to dust the wooden shades, furniture and vacumn everywhere including the couch. The throw blankets were covered in dust as was the duvet covers. The walls are full of scuff marks. As someone with allergies this was very difficult. In addition, the tv outside comes in beautiful but has no sound. The dishwasher is very outdated and one of the burners on the stove does not get very hot. The outside area needs a good cleaning. There appears to be black mold on the overhang by the pool.;

We came down for a friend's wedding. Stayed here 9 days. Great house to come back to and relax in the pool. 15 minutes away from some of the best beaches on the coast. They had a nice beach cart with an umbrella and chairs to use. Very convenient. 5 out ot 5 recommend.

When we arrived the house was clean but smelled like cigarettes inside, the pool was dirty and cold. I went to use the grill the first night only to have it catch on fire because it was so gross underneath, mind you I had to clean it before starting it. The bathroom window wouldn’t shut and the screen door didn’t lock. I emailed the rental agency that was in charge of the house only to really be ignored about my issues and had nothing fixed. Oh yeah the sheets were dirty in the master bedroom how gross! The only thing she addressed when I got a response late into my stay was that she didn’t see a heating order in my rental..that’s really disappointing that a real estate agency doesn’t back the houses they rent
