We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Búrfell. After a full day of driving and sightseeing, it was a very convenient place to stop for the night and get some rest. The view is breathtaking, and the room was simple but comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with very good quality.
The price is the only downside. It was the most expensive hotel on our South Coast trip, although the price is in line with other accommodation in the Vík area.

Check in at desk especially helpful. Nice location.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, generous breakfast (included), remote and quiet.
The road in was not paved and had a few potholes, but that’s the only opportunity they’ve got. Great experience. Definitely would stay there again!

Very clean. Good shower.
Over $510 for a room with no view of anything. The bathroom had nowhere to put shampoo, face soap etc… in the shower. No towel hooks either, so had to walk 7 feet dripping wet to get your bath towel. Asked to take my breakfast roll on the road and was told they don’t allow that. How about taking my coffee to go, nope. Can’t do that either.
