This was a terrible value and it should have been a quarter of that price. It may have been acceptable at *** a night. The pictures are misleading. When we got there, there were flies in the room. We were each provided one towel. There was no hand towel or a bath mat. We each were provided one lumpy pillow. There were three channels on the TV. I can’t believe I paid *** for this room.

We had a good time staying there. It’s a good location to travel to other sites.

Honestly great place, clean, good location, comfortable beds. We had our own bathroom which is rare at these budget hostels in Iceland. My only comment would be: pls send information about the checking procedure before we arrive. We were very stressed for not receiving antyhing before arrival. On arrival there was a note on the door: "check-in info on the desk"... but the desk was in another building. We were so confused and worried we won't be able to get to our room.

The beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet and warm. Full double bed for our child in an extra room which was a bonus. We felt the bathroom was tiny and tired and - in hindsight - it was quite far out of town (approximately 13mins). Food from the past guest was left in the fridge. Would probably choose somewhere else next time.
