Modern and spacious rooms

The staff were accommodating to us checking in earlier. The spa was lovely and even had an outdoor sauna. The room was spacious with a living space as well as a bedroom. It was more like a small apartment than a hotel room (besides a kitchen) which would have been perfect for a longer stay.

Cars driving on the main road can be a little loud if you’re sat on the balcony, as our room faced this. But there was no noise when the doors and windows were shut

Exceptional customer service from all staff, incredibly friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and tidy, and location was great. Concierge was incredibly helpful and provided us with a local travel pass, giving us free local transport and ski lift access which was a great surprise.

Pillows were very flat/made it hard to sleep, and having 1 thick quilt as the only bed blanket in summer made for some nights where we overheated. Also shower towels were not changed at all by housekeeping which I thought was odd

Convenient hotel if you like to ski but don’t like to cook during your holidays.

Great breakfast with a rich buffet, the tasty 5 dish dinner, the sauna, the ski deposit next to the lift, the doctor located across the street.

The restaurant stad don’t speak English. The 5 dish dinner sometimes takes over 2 hours to serve.

The hotel is not far away from ski lift and view around the hotel is very beautiful. The hotel personal was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

Very small saunas and few chairs in the relax room. At some point we had a strong canalization smell inside.

Stunning location-comfortable room with lovely Alpine decor. Also the ability to charge my electric car. The only problem will be when a second electric car wants to charge overnight as well !!

Not a four star experience

Great location for skiing, 5 min walk to the piste. Nice sauna, though only open from 3-7. Beautiful building, amazing mountain views, nice room including amazing balcony.

If you are looking for a genuine Austrian g Hospitality experience, go look elsewhere, since the staff can barely speak Austrian. Service quality was way below the standard I expect with a four star (e.g. I had to wait for 20 minutes to do the check in, long waiting times in food service even if I was the only customer, and almost missed Sunday dinner cause I was not informed about the gala dinner event with specific starting time). Also, damuls is NOT a typical Austrian village but rather a ski resort without any locals.

Leider sehr enttäuschend und nicht zu empfehlen

Der Speisesaal ist sehr schön gestaltet, jedoch bleibt der Rest des Hotels hinter den Erwartungen die die Fotos auf Booking vermitteln zurück. Das Personal ist grundsätzlich freundlich und mehrheitlich bemüht. Die Berglandschaft in welcher das Hotel liegt ist sehr schön.

Frühstücksbuffet grundsätzlich gut mit Ausnahme der gekochten Eier, die roh serviert wurden (war bei mehreren Gästen der Fall). Ebenso gibt es für das Frühstück einen Entsafter den man selber bedienen kann, jedoch war das zur Verfügung gestellte Obst und Gemüse sehr alt, mehrere Tomaten schimmelten bereits. Das Abendessen besteht jeweils aus vier Gängen (Salat, Suppe, Hauptspeise, Dessert). Der Salat ist okay, die Suppe leicht unterdurchschnittlich, der Hauptgang mehrheitlich sehr enttäuschend (zum Beispiel sehr zäher Tafelspitz für den man eine Säge benötigt hätte, ungeniessbare Sauce zu einem Braten, Rahmspinat welcher absolut ungeniessbar war usw.). Dessert ebenfalls von unterdurchschnittlicher Qualität. Gesamthaft war das Essen eines 4 Sternehotels absolut unwürdig. Solche Essensqualität würde man eher von einem schlechteren 2 Sternehotel erwarten. In den meisten Kantinen isst man wesentlich besser. Die Blumen als Tischdeko waren durchgängig verwelkt.

Es hat alles erfüllt was man sich von einer erholsamen Unterkunft für die Wanderferien wünschst.

Das Personal war sehr frendlich und zuvorkommend und das Essen einfach fantastisch! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man ist fussläufig zum UGA-Lift, was wir sehr passend fanden. Der Saunabereich ist klein aber wirklich sehr fein und man kann selber Aufguss machen. Es hat uns wirklich sehr gefallen und wir können es von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Frühstück: Vielfältig und abwechslungsreich, Sonderwünsche zu Eierspeisen wurden erfragt. Abendessen: 4-Gänge-Menü, gute Variationen. Sehr gute Qualität der Speisen. Wellness-Bereich: Top. ....und jeden Tag 2 verschiedene Obstsorten sowie 3 verschiedene Wassersorten. Liegebereich innen und außen sowie eine schöne Liegewiese. Zimmer mit Balkon: Großes Zimmer mit viel Holz und gutem Geruch. Service: Sehr gut. Anregungen wurden direkt umgesetzt.
