Modern and spacious rooms

The staff were accommodating to us checking in earlier. The spa was lovely and even had an outdoor sauna. The room was spacious with a living space as well as a bedroom. It was more like a small apartment than a hotel room (besides a kitchen) which would have been perfect for a longer stay.

Cars driving on the main road can be a little loud if you’re sat on the balcony, as our room faced this. But there was no noise when the doors and windows were shut

Exceptional customer service from all staff, incredibly friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and tidy, and location was great. Concierge was incredibly helpful and provided us with a local travel pass, giving us free local transport and ski lift access which was a great surprise.

Pillows were very flat/made it hard to sleep, and having 1 thick quilt as the only bed blanket in summer made for some nights where we overheated. Also shower towels were not changed at all by housekeeping which I thought was odd

Convenient hotel if you like to ski but don’t like to cook during your holidays.

Great breakfast with a rich buffet, the tasty 5 dish dinner, the sauna, the ski deposit next to the lift, the doctor located across the street.

The restaurant stad don’t speak English. The 5 dish dinner sometimes takes over 2 hours to serve.

The hotel is not far away from ski lift and view around the hotel is very beautiful. The hotel personal was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

Very small saunas and few chairs in the relax room. At some point we had a strong canalization smell inside.

Stunning location-comfortable room with lovely Alpine decor. Also the ability to charge my electric car. The only problem will be when a second electric car wants to charge overnight as well !!

Not a four star experience

Great location for skiing, 5 min walk to the piste. Nice sauna, though only open from 3-7. Beautiful building, amazing mountain views, nice room including amazing balcony.

If you are looking for a genuine Austrian g Hospitality experience, go look elsewhere, since the staff can barely speak Austrian. Service quality was way below the standard I expect with a four star (e.g. I had to wait for 20 minutes to do the check in, long waiting times in food service even if I was the only customer, and almost missed Sunday dinner cause I was not informed about the gala dinner event with specific starting time). Also, damuls is NOT a typical Austrian village but rather a ski resort without any locals.

Kurzweilig, gemütlich, stimmungsvoll...

Besonders hat uns unser Zimmer gefallen. Moderne Holzmöbel und Holzfußboden. Frühstück war hervorragend. Abendessen (Halbpension) bis auf einmal (von 9 Tagen)ebenfalls hervorragend. Alles konnte im Gespräch mit den Kellnern oder Herrn Madlener zu unserer Zufriedenheit geklärt werden. Weinempfehlungen sehr gut. Saunabereich sauber und gemütlich mit verschiedenen Saunen/Temperaturen.

Fußbodenbelag in der Fluren war abgelaufen. Laut Auskunft von Herrn Madlener wird dieser im Mai diesen Jahres erneuert...

Egyszerűen szuper szálloda

Csodálatos helyen a felvonótól valóban csak 500m-re található a szálloda. Hangulatos étterem ahol a 6 fogásos vacsora valóban kiváló és ízletes volt. A pincérek segítőkészek voltak maximálisan, minden kívánságunkat teljesítették. Kérésünkre előbb is átvehettük a szobákat. A wellness részleg hangulatos volt. Nagyon meg voltunk elégedve mindennel, visszajövünk biztosan. A számla kifizetése után még egy egyedi pezsgőt is kaptunk ami nagyon kedves gesztus volt.

Nem tudnék mondani negatívumot a szállásról. Esetleg egy beltéri vagy/és egy kültéri jakuzzi még sokat emelhetne a színvonalon.

Sehr schönes Hotel, sehr Sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr Freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und nur ein katzensprung entfernt von der Ugga Lift. Einfach Perfekt. Das Frühstück war der Hammer und das Abendessen war auch super, immer wechselhaft, viel Angebot in Wein und immer ein Fleisch, Fisch und Vegetarisches Gericht zum Angebot. Wir haben eine echt tolle Zeit mit meinem Sohn.

Ein charmantes Familienhotel für Feinschmecker

Das Personal ist sehr gastfreundlich und liebevoll. Das Essen war jeden Abend ein richtiger Genuss. Wir sind Feinschmecker und für uns ist es ein wichtiges Kriterium. Das Zimmer war sehr bequem, ruhig , groß und mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf die Berge. Nur 300 Meter von der Station. Verhältnis Preis/Qualität gibt es nichts zu sagen. Nichts hat gefehlt. Wir gehen auf jedem Fall wieder hin.

Hätte besser laufen können. Hier fehlt es etwas an Liebe zu den Gästen und zum Hotel.

Die Lage des Hotels zum Sessellift ist mehr als akzeptabel (5min Fußweg). Die Verfügbarkeit von Ski Spinden an der Talstation ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt und nicht zu verachten. Das Abendessen bei Halbpension war gut und ausreichend.

Das Frühstück war nicht immer prickelnd. Teilweise war Ware aus und man musste nachfragen ob noch etwas verfügbar ist. Wir waren über Silvester dort und nach dem "Abendgalamenü" um ca. 21:30 war es dann auch schon alles. Keine Silvesterparty, keine Einladung gemeinsam mit anderen Gästen auf das neue Jahr anzustossen (Bei dem Preis für die Unterkunft wäre sicherlich ein Glas Sekt für jeden drin gewesen). Somit leider eher etwas entäuschend und definitiv nicht gemäß unserer Erwartung für ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Wirklich schade!

Onderbemand, lang wachten op drinken en ontbijt was gewoon leeg als je later dan 9 uur aankwam. Beneden bij de sauna verbleef een junk. Per ongeluk drukte we een deur open en moesten bijna kotsen zo vies. Hoe kunnen mensen zo leven. We vermoeden dat het iemand van het personeel was en hopen dat hij of zij niet dicht in de buurt is geweest van ons eten.

Beim Frühstück war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das Abendessen war perfekt. Sehr lecker und sehr schön angerichtet. Es gab an allen Tagen ein mehr Gänge Menü. Das Service Personal an der Rezeption , der Hotel Chef, die Zimmer Fee sehr freundlich . Ganz besonders das Service Personal im Speisesaal , vor allem zu erwähnen unser Kellner Christopher. Die Lage des Hotels war auch ok ,zwar direkt an der Strasse , aber davon hat man im Hotel nichts gehört. Die Aussicht vom Zimmerbalkon dafür umso besser , Blick auf die Berge. Wir können dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Werden auch wieder kommen.

Preis Leistung top!

Wir waren rundum zufrieden und würden mit unseren Kindern wiederkommen. Das Hotel wird von der Familie Madlener selber geführt und man merkt schnell, dass sehr viel Liebe gesteckt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und genug gross für uns fünf. Das Essen war sehr gut und frisch. Am Abend gab es ein Salat und Vorspeisenbüffet und die anderen 3 Gänge von einer wechselnden Tageskarte. Für die Kinder wurden auch Extrawünsche erfüllt. Zum Frühstück bleiben auch keine Wünsche offen-frischgepresster Orangensaft, Eierspeisen, frische Brotauswahl und vieles mehr. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut. Vor der Hoteltür hält der Ortsbus und bia zur Uga Bahn ist es auch nur eine Station.

Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass das Spielzimmer nicht offen war, aber das ist wahrscheinlich nicht immer so.
