Nice facilities in a disappointing location

In general, the facilities, especially the room (comfortable, large and well organized). Good food at the restaurant, especially at night.

The location of the hotel, too close to the ski facilities (chair lift) and not facing a great view. The service at the restaurant, at night was way too slow.

We spent Christmas here and we liked everything about our stay. We booked half board and there was a wonderful 3 course dinner everyday (with one extra course for Christmas). The proximity to ski lifts, ski and snowshoe rental equipment, and many snowshoeing trails were added advantages. The staff was very helpful and welcoming.

very good hotel, fantastic landscape

great location, spacious room with a large balcony and great views, very comfortable beds, good choice at breakfast, it is located right by the chairlift (that runs also in summer). Looking at the map I was afraid that there would be noise from the street but it wasn't the case, there is hardly any transit there - even in a beautiful summer weekend.

It is difficult to find staff these days, specially during dinner it was somewhat noticeable that waitresses were under stress. Our main courses were forgotten and we had to wait quite a bit as a result.

Exceptional

This hotel exceeded our expectations! Frau Sabrina was a great hostess who had organized everything with attention to the smallest detail. Her overall management was perfect and she made us feel comfortable, welcome and appreciated. For breakfast the hotel offered a very wide variety of fresh and fine ingredients, and each guest had the free option to request that eggs were made to his/her taste. Our package included half-board, which proved to be a wise choice. The chef was outstanding and cannot be complimented enough. Every meal was delicious and impeccably prepared, structured in four or five courses that left us pleased every evening: gourmet dinners with excellent service by the very polite staff. The room was spacious, the bed/mattress was comfortable as were the pillows, the shower room offered various options, and there was a comfortable little lounge area next to the balcony window (with an additional TV, although we rarely used either of the two sets in our room). The view from the balcony (fourth floor) was great overlooking into the woods, and the sound from the nearby brook was naturally relaxing. There was an underground garage and parking was never an issue. Overall, a terrific resort and an excellent value for money. Thank you for the hospitality and bravo!

Nous avons eu un moment hors du temps dans ce hôtel. Tout était parfait de l’emplacement, au repas digne d’un étoilé, aux équipements de l’hôtel. Le personnel est très sympathique et accueillant.

Alles perfekt!

Geniale Lage direkt an der Piste. Das Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr geräumig. Unser Teenie-Sohn fand es super einen eigenen kleinen abtrennbaren Bereich für sich zu haben. Sehr leckeres 5-Gänge-Menü am Abend das auch unser Teenie-Vegetarier sehr gerne gegessen hat. Geschmacklich und auch fürs Auge ein Genuss! Frühstücksbuffet ear ebenfalls lecker und reichhaltig.

Nichts wofür die Unterkunft etwas kann: Leider war zu wenig Schnee da als wir da waren :-)

Wir waren rundum zufrieden

Das Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr gut und vielfältig. Die Lage direkt am Sessellift ist toll, zumal die Nutzung von Bergbahnen und Bussen inkludiert war. Personal durchweg sehr freundlich. Sehr schöner, großer Wellness Bereich, den wir gerne täglich nach unseren Wanderungen genutzt haben

Zimmer hätte ein bisschen größer sein können, die Aussicht war nicht so toll

De mooie kamer, het lekkere bed, het heerlijke eten, het ontbijtpakketje wat voor ons klaar stond, toen wij s’nachts vertrokken en ook niet onbelangrijk het lieve personeel. We hebben genoten en gaan zeker nog eens terug.

Wir werden wiederkommen!

Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig, mit bequemen Betten. Wir hatten Halbpension, was ich sehr empfehlen kann. Das Frühstücksbüffet hat eine große Auswahl. Abends gibt es ein vier Gänge Menü mit verschiedenen Gerichten zum wählen. Die Qualität der Speisen ist immer sehr gut. Manche Gerichte waren auch herausragend. Ich habe hier das zarteste und saftigste Schweinefilet jemals gegessen. Der Wellnessbereich ist wirklich großzügig, wir haben die finnische Sauna fast täglich genutzt. Es gibt aber noch vier weitere Saunen. Die Lage genau beim Uga-Lift ist hervorragend um direkt auf den Berg zu starten. Man bekommt eine Gästekarte, mit der man alle Seilbahnen und Lifte in der Region kostenlos nutzen kann. Die Berge um Damüls sind wunderschön und wir haben viele tolle Wanderungen unternommen. Wir werden wieder kommen und dann auch im Hotel Walliserstube übernachten.

Nur eine Kleinigkeiten: Es war schade, dass die Säfte, die es im Wellnessbereich geben sollte, nie da waren.

Een echte aanrader op een top locatie

Damulz is een prachtige omgeving voor te wandelen. Er zijn ook wandelwegen van makkelijk tot moeilijk. De Uga express vlak naast het hotel is top. Suzanne was uiterst gastvrij. Saunacomplex is proper en heel uitgebreid. De bedden waren opgemaakt in de vorm van hartjes; dat soort kleinigheden maakte het super. Het eten vond ik wat varierend in kwaliteit: van ok tot uitmuntend. Je hebt steeds dezelfde tafel; mooi gedekt maar soms wat lang wachten.

Achter de sofa lag er veel stof. De schoonmaak was nogal slordig. Na het avondeten is er niks meer te doen.

Leuk hotel met fijne inrichting en prachtige kamers! Heerlijk ontbijt en diner, en supermooie wellness!

De locatie is niet slecht, vlak naast de skilift. Wij waren er in juli, dus dan zit je met het terras ook effectief aan de straat en de parking van de skilift. Ik dacht dat het nog net iets meer afgelegen lag.

Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt im Hotel wirklich fantastisch. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt

Der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Das gesamte Personal war stets freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Egal ob an der Rezeption oder im Restaurant, wir wurden immer bestens betreut. Die Ausstattung des Hotels lässt keine Wünsche offen. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allen notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die bequemen Matratzen, auf der wir hervorragend geschlafen haben. Wir hatten mit Halbpension gebucht. Das Frühstücksbuffet lies keine Wünsche offen und zum Abendessen konnten wir uns, aus einem großem Salatbuffet, selbst bedienen. Bei den 3 Folgegängen war die Qualität und Kreativität der Speisen sehr gut und lecker. Die Sauberkeit im Hotel ist hervorragend. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer idealen Lage, direkt gegenüber dem Uga-Express.

Tolles familiengeführtes Hotel an bester Lage in Damüls

Sehr freundliche Gastgeberfamilie und aufmerksames Personal, schöne Zimmer die zweckmässig ausgestattet sind. Tolle Lage des Hotels direkt neben der Uga-Bahn. Reichhaltiges Frühstück und guter Kaffee. Das Abend- und Mittagessen war sehr lecker und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in diesem Hotel.
