Great stay and location

Location was great for our purposes, the facilites are very well upkeep and the staff was super attentive, helpful and friendly. We had issues with our a/c and the front office manager was super helpful and she managed to swap our rooms and we had no issues after all. The staff members at the temporary club lounge were amazing and really attentive.

The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. It was very clean and attractive. Quite nicely decorated.

My room did not have a comfortable chair for reading. I pointed this out, since I was there for multiple days. They said they would get one. Despite being reminded of the problem, and being told this would be fixed, I never got a chair to sit in.

Amazing stay nearby Puebla's Zocalo.

The hotel was gorgeous. Located nearby the Zocalo (10 minute drive) it serves the purpose of a great stay with plenty of things to do with a short drive. The whole building is really nice and the rooms are very comfortable as well. Breakfast is very complete and the staff is just amazing.

The AC remote control wasn't functioning but we didn't even bother to ask for a replacement. The staff was really receptive on how they could help on anything. The pool was a little bit dirty and there weren't enough seating options around it.

Great stay!

The hotel's architecture was nice and artsy. The breakfast buffet was small but very good and the staff was very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Puebla, Mex.

Not a big deal, but we had to evacuate because of a short and low intensity earthquake. The staff kindly instructed us to evacuate for safety, but the emergency exit route from the upper floors going down to the street level floor and into the meeting point was not the best. The route took us through a service area and into the parking area which if there wasn't any staff guiding the guests on the way down, there could be some confusion as to where to exit once you reach the street level floors. Luckily there was staff guiding us during the evacuation.

Old but comfortable, no stores close by

-good value for the price -during two days of our stay the the breakfast menu is different for each day. -room is clean, the size is good, and comfortable, they have iron, hair dryer, small fridge, tv is relatively new. -shower head working well no water leaking or similar problem that several reviewers pointed out. -bed is comfortable -wifi is good -guest that came here mostly families or business peoples, the type that usually well mannered.

-tourist will find the immidiate area around the hotel unamusing, no convinient store (oxxo, 7eleven etc). -the most annoying thing is we stayed in the 4th floor where the access along the elevator and the room doors are partly open air, so we see some pigeons perched on the opening and wandering around the walk path along the room doors. You could see and smell their droopings in front of the doors. -the pool water is clean and heated but it seems leaves and seeds keeps falling to the pool from the surrounding big trees, it is not like you have loads of it floating on the water but its noticiable. Some of the tiny tiles from the pool floor is missing, i saw another guest had his kid picked up some of the dettached tiny tiles from the bottom of the pool as his trophies maybe. My daughter stepped on one of it and picked it up also. But then again its not that a big of a deal as my kids loves swimming in every hotel we stayed, and compared to the other hotels in puebla this one as far as i know is big and decent enough. -AC on the room is old, from the look of it seemed like it originated from the 90s?

Overall service was terrible and not at all IHG standards. No one helped with my luggage, no proper greetings upon check-in and had to walk with my luggage to my room alone. Booked a king room they gave me twin room with a very small window, facing a side street that has loud barking dogs the entire time. Moved rooms when asked for a king bed and they didnt have any other option so they moved me to a room right next door so same view same noise. 11.30pm neighboring room was loud thumping walls and running noises, when complained they wanted to move ME at 11.30pm. Ridiculous Service and will never return OR recommend to anyone. overpriced for what it is and definitely not IHG standards
